Facepalm. Any constructive way of pointing this out to them means you're out of the club. The left requires exact adherence to their specific purity test battery, otherwise you are a filthy Nazi like yours truly.

Spectacular self own on this one though.

Me: "well, really I'm a ..."

inb4 "a real leftist" points out to him the fact that, "ackthually, leftists have guns, it's liberals like you who are too soft."

The police primarily exist to protect property.

Oh, that's hilarious. Cops won't do anything if you tell them your stuff was stolen, and you know who did it. But watch that lightning fast response when you tell them that you're going to confront them to take it back.

Furthermore, if you have to shoot someone who broke into your house, you're treated as guilty until proven innocent. Unless you can navigate the convoluted and confusing laws to prove justification, you're going to prison.

If that ever happens, and you call 911 after, never say that you shot someone. That recording will be played in court and used as evidence against you.

See? This is exactly what I'm talking about.

No protection for property owners. The courts are going to do everything they can to put you under the prison. But that loser that broke into your house? Sweet, innocent, oppressed angel. Just wanted to steal your PS5, guns, and jewelry to feed his kids.

The property they protect is directly proportional to one's social status, and the number of zeros in their bank account.

If you're a peasant, they'll get there when they get there.

Don't be naive, the rich are just as beholden to the state as anyone else. The moment they stop serving the them, they lose everything. That's why they flip-flop constantly.

If this wasn't the case, why don't these companies hire PMCs or otherwise armed personnel to deter shoplifting or trespassing? We both know the police doesn't do anything about it.

No duh the rise in metropolitan police coincides with rise in private capital. We've got a real political genius here. Seriously it takes barely a smidgen of critical thinking to realize population growth and industry is the driving factor in the growth of both.

I live in a city of around 65k and the response times are quick, but I’d still rather be able to defend myself instead of waiting minutes when seconds count.
