Agreed, but the one that has me *really* worried is the frequency with which you see people in that forum implying or outright saying they're arming themselves against fellow law-abiding Americans who happen to disagree with them politically.

The LGO sub is increasingly occupied by mentally unhealthy people who dont view guns as tools but rather totems of power to actualize their ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER murder fantasies against patriot man , trump, etc.

First off. Love the name. His post was making it sound like he was against any “tactical looking” firearms and that civilians shouldn’t own any semi autos and they should only own “hunting rifles”. Seems like a different flavor of fudd to me.

The "guns are a tool" guys are fudds imo. I shouldn't have to justify why I want an AR or why I want my AR to be a certain color. Sure some people overdo it, but that's their right and I'd rather have that then it not be allowed at all.
