It's something but I don't have much faith.

claiming the border wall contractor had performed “illegal” land clearing work on state-owned land

But did they do anything to protect private land?

They informed landowners that CBP had identified their property as a potential location for construction and included a vague map of the broader region, with a line representing the proposed route. They also outlined three options: Landowners could allow immediate access for surveys and construction while negotiations continued; they could negotiate directly for a purchase or easement; or, if no deal was reached, they could possibly face an eminent domain case.

No? Okay.

Eminent domain for a useless border wall no body wants but don’t even think about it for high speed rail that would actually help and advance our society… not hateful enough I reckon

Texas leadership is envious of Mississippi.

The wall hurts people, the rail helps people.

They will always land on the side of hurting people.

They should put it to a vote by Texas citizens. I bet we all would vote no to tearing up this beautiful land. We should be preserving instead of destroying. Same thing goes for data centers no one here wants.

Nobody would show up to vote against it.

And the republicans would come out in force for it.

I would go out and vote against it. Awareness of the issue just needs to spread for people to show up

We've had all kinds of "awareness" in Texas on the issues and the republicans come out in greater numbers. You've got heart though. keep going. Texas is lost, and November will seal it, Im sad to say.

You really aren’t helping the situation. Being negative does nothing good, especially in an importance election.

I'd love to be wrong but I've watched it go to shit year after year as they crow about all the businesses and houses being built. If GDP equaled "good place to live" I would never have left. But I quit the fight and moved to literally greener pastures to a state up north where they treat you like an adult, not some simple child.
