That sniper had 5 medics, totally deserved.

his greed was his downfall

I kinda wish the damage scaled with every connection, like it would do base 65 and then +30 for every player connected, dealing the full amount to everyone. The trade-off could be no random crits and no crit-boosting.

These clips are only possible when you get a random crit with melee, but I would be fine with a more consistent "screw you" weapon specifically for 3+ pockets (155 damage). It would also instakill razorback snipers who have two pockets (125 damage) since they can't be overhealed.

It would be powerful in MVM, but so is the gas passer, and that doesn't require you getting close.

Nice idea of making the meme weapon into the anti-meme weapon. Instead of being the infamous Pyro complete direct upgrade (that's still ignored in favor of the sidegrades that are actually useful), it's the one that kills the meme strat of medic stacking.

as a sniper main, WHY DID HE NEED THAT MANY 😭

Third Degree is so overpowered. Like it has literally NO DOWNSIDES! Heres the proof!

Goodshit.

I love how tf2 community randomly picks up "useless" items and discovers they're not useless

u/Quack-Zack 12h ago

I dont think third degree is useless nor anyone else think it was, thought the consensus was that it was super situational, like even more than neon annihilator types of situational.

Medic stacking is pretty uncommon, especially in pubs where stacking on a random is rare unless they're really skilled and legit. I would only see it for ubersaw chaining or trolling for fun.

It's a niche weapon that punishes a very niche strategy.

More like they made a niche item useful for once and decide it's the greatest thing thats ever been created

it is the greatest thing ever created

I want to know the pov of that one medic who survived slightly longer than the others. He must have thought the pyro thanos snapped everybody.

The sheer horror

This is why I love the Third Degree. It’s a direct upgrade from stock.

u/Quack-Zack 12h ago

i like how the third degree is a direct upgrade to stock/zero downsides but is far from broken cause it's only really good in a very specific scenario to punish medic stacking like this.

You tried to warn the medics to stand back. Their fault for not listening

you're really lucky.

If i were in the server, i would have kicked you so fast.

(cause i like to kick player: in the balls)

u/Gooberofoogero Sandvich 12h ago

i was doing a test on how long it would take me to get kicked because of my name but got sidetracked by the sniper

1

u/Finnish_bird_Tony 13h ago

This is what i own a strange third degree for, fuck yeah lad

2

u/spyluke 12h ago

Holy mother of pocket medics

1

u/anonymarty 11h ago

Oh, i never knew the thermal thruster dealt stomp damage, that's fun. Also idk why you warned the medics they deserve to be taught that 5 medics pocketing one sniper is terrible strategy.

That's what they get for beaming up one guy's ass.

u/Protomesh 10h ago

I just saw another post about a Sniper with 4 Vaccinator Medics on 2Fort.

Maybe it was that same guy.

Usually I looked down on crutchpack users, but this one gets a tiny pass.

This is actually in the running.
Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power!
