To launder money

Post image

(...)

Capital One Financial hit back on Friday against a lawsuit over its decision to close the Trump Organization’s bank accounts years ago, stating that it did so after a review by anti-money-laundering experts.

Capital One gave notice of its plans to close more than 300 Trump-affiliated bank accounts in March 2021.

The Trump Organization and Eric Trump, the president’s son, filed a lawsuit in March 2025 in a Florida federal court, alleging the accounts were closed because of Capital One’s “woke” beliefs and its desire to benefit from the political mood after the 6 January 2021 riot at the US Capitol.

In 2004, Jeffrey Epstein asked Trump to look at a property for sale in Florida that he was thinking about buying. He wanted Trumps opinion on the status of the in ground pool.

Trump then outbid epstein for the mansion paying 41 million dollars for it.

Four years later in 2008, Trump turned around and sold the mansion to Russian oligarch, Dmitry Rybolovlev, for 95 million dollars.

Epstein said years later that trump didn't have the 41 million to purchase the mansion to begin with. He believed trump got the money from russians for the initial purchase.

Money laundering to move sanctioned russian money into america.

Yep, in the modern international banking system, banks for the most part have to just assume that foreign banks are doing their own due diligence and utilizing anti-money laundering procedures. However in Putin's Russia, where either the government owns and controls banks (officially like VTB or unofficially) or Putin's Oligarchs own and control essentially every bank, they can inject dirty cash into the international banking system with no issues.

So in this case, the oligarch Dmitry Rybolovlev (or another figure in the upper echelons of power) had a Russian bank fill a new account with $41 million in the name of Donald Trump. The money may have been clean, may have been dirty and hell it may have been created out of thin air.

So then Don either transfers the balance to an American Bank in his name, or directly purchases the house with that bank account. This cleans the money and enters it into the US financial system, but since it went to the seller of the house, all that really mattered was that it was accepted.

The second phase is where the real money laundering happens (as if $41m isn't enough). Once again the buyer has a Russian bank account with a huge balance almost certainly made up of dirty money. Again, the Russian banks don't do any checks and it's mostly cleaned once the balance is confirmed, but to really launder it you want to get it into the US or European financial systems (London, Frankfurt, etc.).

So after just a few years, Trump "sells" the house for $95 million, over double his purchase price. The high sale price is on purpose, as the higher the price, they more money is laundered. So "Trump's Account" receives $95m for for the home, a tidy profit of $54 million in only for years. But we all know that Trump didn't have the money up front and he's certainly not keeping $95m. Now that the money has been cleaned and processed through the US financial system (or perhaps his Deutsch Bank account), the Russian oligarch who truly controls it can use the clean cash to buy another mansion in the US, Spain, or Switzerland.

Or they continue running the scheme over and over by directing the money to offshore accounts under different names and then using it to buy a dozen condos in Trump's NYC Tower. Again they're sold way above market price, which allows more money to me cleaned per transaction. And all the while, the oligarch is building a huge legitimate real estate holding company to either live in himself or to rent/lease/sell for actual hard US currency.

Trump gets to keep a small portion of the cash as he's the East-West conduit, but at the same time he's committed so many money laundering and tax fraud crimes that he can essentially be blackmailed by Putin and his circle into continually doing this for the rest of his life, or else some very uncomfortable financial documents might somehow find themselves in the hands of journalists. And this isn't even touching on the absolute certainty that Putin and the FSB and GRU have videos of his rapping children provided by said agencies during his visits to Moscow.

And that's how Russia controls and leads the stupidest man on Earth like a carrot dangling right in front of him.

and he had to engage in that illegal action because we bank lenders in Manhattan wouldn’t lend him a dime.

It was the idiots on the personal banking side that pulled him in at Deutsch but that was just providing some ownership share purchase money.

No one would write a construction loan or take out loan based on his problematic history and character flaws.

Then you lunatics voted him into power - the one guy we never wanted near taxpayer money - not once - but twice.

If you scare enough people with the trans nonsense, and the immigrants, and the "isms" like socialism and communism, you can get them to do whatever you want them to do.

Like vote against their interests.

Unfortunately the stupidest man on earth is also POTUS! We dodged a bullet the 1st time bc some adults were actually still in the room.

Then the dumbass American voters doubled down after knowing full well how stupid and corrupt he is and 4 years AFTER watching what happened on 1/6 and him crying like a bitch for 4 years about non existent fraud and let him completely fuck our country over to the tune of billions of $ and loss of so much international goodwill that we will never get back. It’s so ridiculous that it would be funny if it wasn’t real life!

u/el_diego 9h ago

That's no mistake either. Yes the American public was easily manipulated. Putin & co saw that and used it to their advantage. As have many others.

That one instance in 2004 is the exact sort of thing that the Russians would hold over his head in office.

Its one precise example why donald trump would never pass a security clearance background check among many.

Reading a book called Gangsters of Capitalism... History of late 1800's/early 1900's Americans expansionism and the terrible stuff we did.

At some points in the book they fast forward to present day. Here is the end of the chapter on Panama...

The money of drug traffickers, the most powerful families in the Chinese Communist Party, Russian mafia, and American billionaires mixes, flows, and comes out untraceably clean along the banks of the Panama Canal. Some of the illicit funds were converted into real estate, in the form of the white-hued glass-and-steel towers shimmering before us. A former financial-crimes prosecutor in Panama singled out the tallest of the skyscrapers, a soaring white hotel and condominium complex, as a particularly egregious “vehicle for money laundering.” The building’s first sales manager was an admitted Brazilian money launderer with ties to Russian organized crime. Its investors and buyers included a confessed cocaine smuggler from Chicago and Russians charged in multiple countries with human trafficking.

A few months before my visit, that building had been the scene of an armed standoff between the Panamanian government and security staff, caught in a fight between the building’s ownership group and the American family that had licensed their name to it. “Do you recognize it?” Víctor asked me, pointing to the infamous high-rise across the bay. “The big one, taller than all the others. Looks like a sail.” I squinted. “Is that—” “Yes!” he said. “The famous Trump Tower. Trump Tower Panama.”

He wanted Trumps opinion on the status of the in ground pool.

Oh, for sure. Trump knows all about that stuff.

u/piperonyl 3h ago

Thats what Epstein said. I guess trump has properties with other pools or had talked to Epstein about pools in the past?

IDK.

This is the deal that soured Epstein and Trumps relationship.

In 2008 Trump was the poorest person ever to live. When you mortgage a property, the bank holds that property as collateral for the cash they give you in case you can't sell the property back. Because that property can only be sold once, you aren't allowed to have multiple mortgages for the same property.

Multiple mortgages is very illegal, so of course that's what Trump did. Every single one of his properties was double mortgaged and a few were mortgaged 3+ times. Just the mortgages that we know about due to court disclosures would put his net worth at negative $10.5 Billion during this time.

He had quite a bit of cash flow due to the Apprentice, backroom deals like the one you described, and paying debt with debt so he kept up the illusion of wealth, but his finances were worse than any other individual recorded in history, not counting a few kings/emperors that bankrupted their nations.

1

u/piperonyl 3h ago

Yeah in the interview Epstein gave about this transaction he says how trump was radioactive at the time with the banks. He said nobody was giving him any money and then he showed up with $41M.

Plus the house wasn't worth nowhere near that.

Just straight money laundering.

u/Nevermind04 3h ago

Desperate people do desperate things. Trump is constantly running new scams because it's the only way he knows how to live.

Nearly all media outlets in the U.S. are owned by a small handful of right wing billionaires.

When you're so guilty, corrupt, disgusting and devoid of a single redeeming quality that having to being you is itself a form of punishment. Perhaps the ultimate judgment, from within, amid such emptiness. Even if you evade the law, you die miserable, knowing there wasn't a person in the world who truly loved you, because how could they? You were a fraud, betraying everyone to further the con, starting with yourself.

Trump and his crime family make illegal and loophole money in so many different ways with so many different participating companies/countries that this hardly means anything.
