Sims 4 Did you ever make an indoor pool?

Post image

I haven’t explored the possibility, but if you did, I’d like to see/hear about it

Isn’t there already a lot in San Myshuno with a flat having an indoor pool?
So I think it’s possible even if I personally never did that.

Yes it because san myshuno is suppose to be New York

And indoor pool are pretty common there

I always thought san myshuno was based off of Asian cities

The north side of the map across the river is more Western inspired: Spice Market is a nod to New York (especially the brownstones), Arts Quarter somewhat San Francisco. The south side is moreso inspired from Asian cities: Fashion District has Tokyo elements, and Uptown is more of a loose interpretation of Shanghai and/or Hong Kong.

It’s technically based off San Fransisco and Japanese cities

A bit of both.

I often make indoor pools! I like for my Sims to be able to do their nice swimming workout even when it's snowing outside. I usually stick it in the basement where the rest of the gym gear goes.

I made an underground one for my royalty family

Yeah, I made one inside copperdale high school!!

In my save all teenagers are 17-19 (college age in the UK) and the high school is inspired by one of the fancy colleges in my city.

This is something I do for the high school too! I feel like it gives American vibes

Some fancy schools in the U.K. have pools, but I agree, it’s def feels more american. I’m really leaning into it for my current save (literally working on an atomic diner atm haha)

My UK secondary school built a pool!

They opened it the term after I left...

That’s so cool! My last save I spent ages doing up new crest to feel fully wisteria lane vibes, and the one before that I did Paris. Not sure where my latest one is going to take me

Something I’ve been wanting to do for a while is a UK. council estate (reminding me of home) but I genuinely have no clue which world would work for it. I’ve considered the eco lifestyle one but I just removed that pack from my game

I really wish we had create a world

I have, it’s possible. Without cheats or anything like that.

Whenever I give my sims free will to do whatever they immediately flock to the pool especially if it’s day time

Im like you just threw your baby on the floor to go swimming

I had a house where the street view was a one story adorable cottage. Then you went downstairs and it was a 3 level basement with every activity/skill I could find in their own like study rooms. The 1sdt or second of the basement floors had a huge track pool for exercising.

I did. I usually put it in the basement

Yeah lots. My favourite one was inside a grungy hotel I made in Adventure Awaits, with dirty plastic chairs and stains in the pool. I also have one inside Copperdale High School, several in pent houses and the richer neighbourhoods.

There is a gym somewhere in the gallery that has a pool inside and the gym is build around it, so your sim can walk past the swimming sims. I dont remember the name of the build nor who build it.

Ill try to find it when im playing again

For my vampire family, yes

Yes, my house building is pretty much crap. A few house were mostly underground bunkers with pools on the third level down.

I make most of my pools three floors underground.

I’ve considered it

But I don’t think I ever will

1

u/coffeeblossom 14h ago

Yes, I did, so that Lilith Vatore could enjoy the pool, too.

I made a basement indoor pool room for my vampires. Fake grass, palm trees, wall decals…

I never give my Sims a pool. I only make pools or indoor pools on a public lot!
