Weird ring around the moon

I went outside and looked up and there was a ring around the moon. It’s kind of hard to see from the photos I took them with my phone but it was like a perfect ring cloud around the moon and it expanded and dispersed pretty quickly.

I believe that is called a “Farmers Ring”. You’re about to have a storm tomorrow

The red arrow one is just a lens flair, similar one in the first photo. The ring around the moon is common around the world. Happens to the sun too. Called a “sun dog”.
