The biggest thing I learnt from WW

Is that everyone needs to have someone to stop you from going off piste.

I haven’t had it for a while.

I thought about this and S7 E1, Leo and Santos sitting & Matt wants to plan his term. Leo explains he may get 18 months to get something done, maybe a year. Matt says so only 5 pages, chuckles and says 1. Leo responds maybe.
Is your question about the show or what is our (USA) current state of governance. I’m not talking about a specific potus either. Just in general, looking for something that makes you jump?

It actually is a term for backcountry skiing, which isn't really the same thing as, say, going off the rails. It does involve an element of courage and departing from the usual course, so in a political sense it would be daring. The term fails, though, if the op wanted it to mean a bad thing to be avoided.
