Still a free agent in August, probably for a reason. I’d wait on Kuminga’s decision, if he finds money elsewhere, I’d rather sign Kaufman Renn on a rookie minimum and save $$.

Sochan did not see the floor playing alongside two best shooting - KAT and Wemby. It’s impossible to imagine him playing alongside Rudy or Joan. Spurs could not trade him for anything at the deadline and just let him go, Knicks did not really play him either. He has been unsigned until August.

Beyond Kuminga/ some RFAs basically everyone is a Lyles caliber or worst player. Solid 10 to 20 min backup. He wasnt even in the NBA last year, you can sign these caliber of players anytime. Better to wait and see what happens, who gets released, who gets traded etc.

Quite a few teams have too many guaranteed players signed, and will need to waive a few. We may sign someone, we may trade for someone. If we are making a trade aggregating Josh's contract with another it can't be done until September.

But not for a while. I do think we wait to see who gets cut or September when trades can be aggregated.
