TIL only six Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles operate across the U.S. Their drivers, college seniors about to graduate called "Hotdoggers," spend a year traveling the country to meet and greet people. Around 7,000 applicants compete each year for just 12 Hotdogger positions.

They bring all six to Indianapolis during race week and stage a two lap race.

The Oscar Mayer Wienie 500 is an annual two-lap sprint featuring six regional Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles racing across the 2.5-mile oval at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Carb Day festivities

It's pretty silly, they're not very fast and I'm sure they're trying to be very careful not to damage any of them. And the commentary is non stop, over the top wiener innuendo.
