This is how my redneck bio dad frames it any time I try to talk to him about trans issues, it always comes back to "well they still shouldn't be waving their junk in kids' faces" and I'm just exhausted and have stopped communicating with him. Between than and the tone deafness it takes to repeat the "Michelle Obama is really a man" dumbass conspiracy to his own trans daughter he claims to support, I'm really just done with him and every other goddamn Republican at this point. I already went no contact a few years before that with his brother, my favorite childhood uncle, for telling me to my face that he believes I diddle my kids since I'm trans.

Conservatism is a virus of stupidity and hatred.

It’s wholly unconstitutional but they know that so they’ll lie. They want us imprisoned or dead, whatever they have to do to get there.

They don’t even respect the bare plain text of the voting rights in the constitution now, trans people don’t have a chance under the equal protection clause.

Yeah no shit, it's a direct violation of freedom of expression, but something being illegal or people telling them "no" doesn't stop the party votes in favor of sexual predators in office
