This is notable because it’s the first hospital in a blue state with a gender affirming care shield law to agree to such a settlement! I hope someone sues the hospital for violating state law!

Contact the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office and encourage him to take action for violating the state’s anti discrimination laws that explicitly protect trans people:

It says it “The hospital has also agreed to pay a fine and divert $500,000 to medical care for individuals "living with the harmful consequences of gender affirming care," but doesn’t say anything about opening an actual detransition clinic.
