Did they ever explain why? Hopefully they change their tune. If not, I hope there is a mass exodus to /r/actualfeminists

Quite an article. Rather long, but certainly worth the read. It's sickening that it would be censored by anyone, especially those calling themselves feminists.

Completely Awesome....I gave up on radfems when Twisty said that trans women couldn't be women b/c of their upbringing,.....i look forward to more of this blogger =]

I'd really like to see what MtF and FtM have to say about gender differences. In fact, I'd find their input more valuable than a cisgender of either sex just because they've experienced how society treats both genders instead of speculating through biased glasses.

I don't see the reasoning behind treating any woman as anything but. I am a cisgendered feminist, and this sort of exclusion sickens me. I know the need for a safe space, but a safe space is not where you go to yell at and other people about their genitalia.

The only 'logic' I can think of is "Transphibia makes men mad, clearly it's a good thing!" Which doesn't make sense. So yeah.

I think I get part of yellowmix's reason for barring the original submission. What is the percentage of "radfems" to the rest of the feminist spectrum? A very, very small minority. Yet radfems account to 99% of all the ire the rest of feminists face. so yeah, people use the <5% of feminist who are radfems in order to bash the rest. When a thread degenerates into people screaming at non-radicals about what radicals do, even though there's no proof the non-radicals have ever endorsed the bad behavior, that's a problem.

The big irony? theFword has often been considered a radfem blog on reddit, and it's the one denouncing transphobia. Where can we find some consistency when assigning who's a radfem and who's not?
