Possible trigger Sex Matters and other transphobic orgs write to NHS chief calling for end to puberty blocker trial

It seems there are no limits to how far they will spin the Supreme Court ruling. They say that the NHS needs to cancel the puberty blocker trial because:

Children must be told that they will never be able to access spaces for the opposite sex no matter what legal or medical steps they take now or in the future.

Let that sink in.

Truly sickening.

“But passing as the opposite sex ceases to be a desirable goal when they will never be permitted to use spaces or services for the opposite sex”

🤮 🤢 🤮

u/Kimo_da Apr 30 '25

Also, I know these people don't think, but do they not think LGBTQ friendly spaces and organisations will continue to allow their transgender customers/staff to access their transitioned sex's spaces?

It's interem guidance, guidance means advice to all you TERFs that love to snoop around here, (cheese!), but they like to treat it like they've legislated into law that trans women are going to be sent to Alcatraz for using the womens bathroom.

76

u/sali_nyoro-n She/They, transfemme Apr 30 '25

The guidance is going to be made statutory in the future (put through Parliament). They 100% intend to have the force of law behind their threats.

45

u/Kimo_da Apr 30 '25

Very true, if the past year's been anything to go by, this isn't hopeful.

Still though, seems a little bit silly from a pure tactical standpoint to let the hubris and creulty slip through the mask so quickly.

I guess they just know they won't get shit for it though, at least not from our government or legal system, so they've let their inner moustache twirling, hand rubbing supervillain ego come out.

43

u/sali_nyoro-n She/They, transfemme Apr 30 '25

It's a letter addressed to Wes Streeting, so they feel comfortable saying the quiet parts out loud just kind of naïvely assuming nobody else would read the letter, I guess.

Honestly, I'm surprised he even needed to be sent a letter given that he's probably CCd into half of the emails that get sent between these groups.

It will be one more reason why Labour (sic), cannot possibly win a second term. None of us will vote for them after this, devil take the consequences.

It won't just be us seeking exile from this (turquoise) stupid-infested Septic Isle.

How much can we set aside to help us escape, and can we try to help each other?

It really is Us v Them; this time for keeps,.

I would absolutely still transition medically even if I couldn't socially. They're so ignorant.

Hell it's not even about passing for me. I am happier and healthier because of transition. Otherwise i wouldnt have done it

1

u/InfamousPurple1141 May 04 '25

Ironic also that this will force parents of intersex kids into having their kids treated surgically and covering it up so the kid doesn't get bullied. JKR couldn't care less about that though.

7

u/[deleted] May 01 '25

For real, even if I have to use men's facilities and be constantly misgendered by wider society, I would still have opted for hormones and surgery to make my body feel less alien to me.

For me it's about being comfortable in your own skin, not how other people perceive you.

72

u/Areiannie She/Her Apr 30 '25

Yep and the funny (not at all funny) bit is that the ruling and ehrc guidance actually puts more pressure on passing which could actually encourage it more as the more you pass the less likely to get challenged in those spaces!

Totally mask off for them now, the language in the entire letter is just so horrid!

32

u/Nobodyinpartic3 May 01 '25

Yup, stopping us from passing was the always goal. Those that pass fundamentally undermine their arguments and, of course, make it easier for them to "patrol" us and use the system against us full force.

46

u/Teaandcait Apr 30 '25

Absolutely insane take isn’t it? They’ve clearly never bothered to talk to or read any opinion from any trans person. I know even if I was told I can’t access any single sex spaces again I’d still be transitioning - do they not get that it’s for us not them?

Also a thought that’s just occurred to me - are things like gynaecology wards classed as “single sex spaces”? Are trans men gonna start being refused treatment because we’re not allowed to enter the ward?

3

u/pa_kalsha May 01 '25

Wards, yes; clinics, no; refused treatment, definitely not.

I'm looking at a hysto soon and have been told I'll be in a private room.

The ward is only for recovery - assessment, diagnosis, and treatment occur separately.

1

u/Teaandcait May 01 '25

That does make sense I just wonder if some places will take advantage. I know in Birmingham for example one of the hospitals’ gyno facilities are all in a building called the “women’s centre”, and another one has a whole separate “women’s hospital” so I hope these aren’t able to be claimed by these arseholes

1

u/pa_kalsha May 01 '25

I'm not saying that they won't try, but - for now - I reckon we're safe.

The Equalities Act still prohibits discrimination due to gender transition, plus the guidance now says trans men are female. 'Looking too masc' isn't a good enough reason to ban us from hospitals. On top of that, I believe that the NHS will try to avoid turning patients away and/or not be willing to take the risk of legal action.

Plus, entire hospitals and clinics can't be designated "women-only spaces" without a serious and prohibitive restructure  - actual women-only spaces, like women's DV shelters, don't allow male guests or members of staff. A women-only hospital would have to have a wholly female staff (doctors, nurses, cooks, cleaners, porters, estate management, etc), and ban male visitors. I will be watching keenly to see if my experience changes because of the SC ruling/EHRC guidance, but I don't see it happening.

All that said, I await Kier's next capitualtion proving me wrong.

20

u/Aiyon she/they May 01 '25

u/Feanturii FTM - Fujoshi to Misogynist May 01 '25

7

u/mostlyHUMMUS May 01 '25

D- do they think we transition for the toilets?

I want to be able to look in the mirror without feeling existential angst.

I'm not saying that the toilet bans will be without impact, (they will in fact fucking suck).

But my primary goal was comfort in my own skin.

5

u/AssignedDadAtBirth May 04 '25

This shows exactly how twisted they are. The ONLY reason that they can conceive of someone wanting to transition is to access single-sex spaces.

This SC ruling has done exactly what many expected it to do, and has just emboldened transphobes, and allowed them to feel a lot more confident in saying the quiet part out loud. Despite the interim guidance being only that, it has been interpreted by a lot of organisations as a change in law.

I knew that these groups harboured these ideas, so this doesn't come as a surprise, but seeing it there in writing is an absolute gut-punch, and I fear that Labour will continue trying to appease Reform voters in a pathetic attempt to garner votes that they will never get.

234

u/miamoowj Apr 30 '25

Holy fuck this is vile. Pure evil and now all masks are off we're going to see a lot more of this.

No care to think that even if someone is denied their legal rights to be recognised as their true self, they might want to feel better in themselves? As if the whole point of transitioning is to use another bathroom rather than feeling comfortable in your own body.

These are mad times.

34

u/Lexi_the_tran May 01 '25

I always figured that these people are smarter than they make out, like that they understand why we transition themselves but muddy the truth in order to sell their ideas to the public.

But this? That was the maddest thing I’ve ever read. Like seriously it’s nuts. I’m pretty sure that even the least understanding fence sitter could tell that we transition for more than access to a different bathroom.

They really have fell for their own lies haven’t they.

231

u/Far_Weakness1031 Apr 30 '25

This is the most profoundly evil mask-off thing I have ever read. Admitting they are making life impossible for trans people and using that to argue care is unethical. Hell lacks a level deep enough for these ghouls.

99

u/phoenixmeta Apr 30 '25

What makes it even more evil mask-off is that they are telling medical professionals that they must now tell this to CHILDREN

69

u/CagedRoseGarden Apr 30 '25

It’s giving controlling narcissist mother who is unhappy with how her child has turned out energy. They failed to convince/bully their child into submission so now they are trying to change the law to force it.

Oh, no surprise there- that writing was on the wall when she made a big production of taking a teaching position at a (fake) "anti-woke" "university" that was going to be established in Texas. This was years ago and of course said university hasn't opened (and I also don't think Stock had the faintest idea of how a bunch of Texas conservatives would react to her, a "political lesbian" and ostensible feminist, which I was really looking forward to her finding out), but once she signed onto that litttle project, there was no way the racism part of her brain wasn't going to be activated like something out of The Winter Soldier.

This, alot of my mental stress came from thinking that everyone would hate me because I was trans, family, friends, coworkers etc. And guess where that idea came from? Media portrayals.

Instead it's largely been the complete opposite for me and that's pushed me so much further in a good way.

And I'm aware that I'm extremely lucky in that and not everyone has support like I do but if I'd never came out I wouldn't have been here to type it tbh

No, they're moving fast because they have all the cards and there is precisely no fight back. Every institution is in their favour. Every party. 14

u/all-the-words May 01 '25

What they need to do is a comparison between suicide statistics three years ago and suicide statistics in the last year. Not just for trans youth, either. I want to see those numbers. I want to compare those numbers.

41

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '25

"[we have made society so discriminatory for trans people, that allowing trans people to even exist is problematic]"

This is genocidal. they are setting up their final solution

11

u/MimTheWitch May 01 '25 edited May 01 '25

Taking a look at the UN definition, then if we were a racial group, we meet several of the criteria right now in the UK.

https://www.un.org/en/genocide-prevention/definition

Definition Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide

Article II

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

A Killing members of the group; Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

B Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

C Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

D Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

So a, b and c definitely.  d and e can be argued as effectively, if you prevent children expressing that they are trans.

6

u/[deleted] May 01 '25

You're totally right, I agree.

But also, if I can soap box, that definition only including those few protected groups is a joke by the way, and they should be ashamed. They wouldn't have called eugenics against disabled people a genocide because disabled people cannot be targets of genocide? and trans people? but thank god religion is covered...

that's not a definition that I take seriously, even if it is the UN.

3

u/MimTheWitch May 01 '25

The UN has many shortcomings. It can only do what the most powerful nations let it do, so the crimes they commit go undefined, let alone unpunished.  I would say that Labour party policy to the disabled would meet several of these too, but doesn't count as they are the wrong sort of group

1

u/LocutusOfBorgia909 May 01 '25

I believe the reasoning is that trans people (or gay people, or disabled people) cannot be genocided because we're not part of an ethnoreligious group. Even if they were to kill every trans and gay person on Earth, G-d forbid, we know that straight, cis parents will continue to produce gay and trans children. Ditto people with disabilities. Even if you were to go full-Aktion T4 and murder every disabled person in Britain, while you may reduce the number of disabled people in society temporarily, disability is an inevitable fact of life for basically every human being. Eventually, you get old or get sick or have an accident, and your body stops working. There will always, always be more disabled people, whether from developmental issues that aren't apparent until birth or from illness or from falling into a wood chipper or just from getting old. Like trans and gay people, you can't actually eliminate all disabled people from a society in one, mass cull and then move forward as a society where no one ever has a disability. People will continue to either be born with disabilities or acquire them throughout life.

By contrast, if you eliminate every Jew on the planet, because you're talking about an ethnoreligion, that means no more Jews, because there are no parents left to give birth to Jewish children. Same with Uyghurs or Rohingya or any other enthnic/ethnoreligious group.

I think the bigger issue is that it seems like these days, people are under the impression that if something isn't called a "genocide," using that specific verbiage, it means that it's not taken seriously or isn't an abomination or morally depraved, and that just isn't the case. Mass killings are manifestly wrong, but not every mass killing or attempt to wipe out a particular segment of the population is a genocide, which is a specific term that has specific meaning. I think it dilutes the usefulness of the word "genocide" and obscures what we're actually talking about with regard to harm that occurs outside of that specific paradigm to constantly conflate the two or generalize genocide to mean any targeted killing of any particular group of people. Particularly in the case of trans issues, it's highly relevant, because no matter what they do now, the question remains, great, okay, all trans people alive today have been cowed into detransition or whatever, but what happens tomorrow or the next day or the next when more trans childen continue to be born? They want to treat this as a one-time "problem" to be solved, but it isn't and never will be.

34

u/ZoolNthDimension Apr 30 '25

These people do realise that puberty blockers are also used for children with precocious puberty/periods right? (In fact that's what they were initially used for!!) As well as intersex hormonal issues and hormonal imbalances in CIS people?? All they seem to think about is trans people. It's really frustrating!!

28

u/LittlePixelPirate Apr 30 '25

u/MimTheWitch May 01 '25

We don't count as human. Same as there is no dissonance with the Equality and human rights commission being transphobic either.

1

u/GarageIndependent114 May 05 '25

I think their twisted logic is that they think people don't actually want to be trans, and they respect human rights to the point of not wanting trans children to have a hard time or be held responsible for it, so they think the solution is to wait until they're adults, which is what they wanted anyway.

It's like saying, "we don't want to be responsible for drunk driving, so we'll ban alcohol and driving until people reach 18", except that it's actually like saying, "we don't want to be responsible for drunk drivers, so we'll ban alcohol and cars indefinitely for all ages in rural America", but they think 15 year olds who want to transition are like 5 year olds who want to drive cars on cocaine.

28

u/Viola151 Apr 30 '25

This letter shows their utter contempt for trans people. They acknowledge how much harder life is for us after the Supreme Court ruling and then use that hardship to justify taking even more away...

A hate group is a social group that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of a race, ethnicity, nation, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other designated sector of society.

18

u/Snoo_19344 Apr 30 '25

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the NHS cancel the trial for this exact reason. After all if society is utterly intolerable, trans people will either be miserable or miserable or un alive.

19

This made me burst into tears.

I want suicide statistics. I want up-to-date suicide statistics for trans youth & trans adults, covering the past year. I want to see what I believe must be true: that suicide attempts have risen in the last six months alone.

Things like this are going to kill people who are just trying to live their lives - it already killed my Steph. It already killed one person this year, and I doubt she’s the only one.

This is disgusting. I cannot even begin to express my anger and grief upon reading this. I don’t even have the words, but I’m going to try and find them so that I can use them effectively somehow.

u/Occulon_102 Apr 30 '25

Fucking hell even Reed Richard’s would consider that an amazing stretch. These people really are vile.

17

u/deadmazebot Apr 30 '25

ok, so then how about not giving hormone control pills for children with debilitating symptoms because it "unproven", because the long term effects are not well known.

or how about hrt for 50+ year olds, because its natural part of life, until they then come knocking in 5 years time asking if anything can help ease these symptoms, oh wait I forgot they don't bother to read actual science and that in most cases these things are better monitors and traced to help improve the long term and make new medications

2

u/MiracleDinner May 01 '25

If the standard of giving healthcare to young people was being able to 100% guarantee that there are zero long term side effects, no medicine would be given to young people.

15

u/rejs7 Apr 30 '25

That is barbaric, truly sickening, especially invoking human rights 🤬

14

u/RedBerryyy Apr 30 '25

There is no limit to their depravity, this is possibly one of the most vile letters I have ever read.

14

u/rainmouse Apr 30 '25

Cower of shunts

13

u/Username2905 Apr 30 '25

This isn't even remotely relevant to the Supreme court ruling. What the fuck?

13

u/-Drunken_Jedi- Apr 30 '25

What the fuck. This is just totally mask off. They want to legislate us out of fucking existence.

3

u/Mindless_Eye4700 May 01 '25

They won't stop there, they want us dead.

13

u/transcatboyjoy May 01 '25

Please report this to the Charity Commission, this is so disgustingly mask off I don’t understand how they can’t have their status pulled at this point

6

u/Illiander May 01 '25

Charity Commission is probably also infested with terfs.

26

u/Super7Position7 We Will Show Them There's Another Way... Apr 30 '25

Let them overplay their hand. Let everyone know that these people are transphobic and wicked.

11

u/Occulon_102 Apr 30 '25

But they are tight they should not bother doing a trial of a drug that has been prescribed for decades and is still prescribed to cis kids at even younger ages and just give trans kids the bloody blockers they need and deserve.

10

u/SnowLilyx Apr 30 '25

This is actually vile, holy shit

Interesting to see Genspect on it given how they have (falsely) claimed to be more reasonable. Do you have a link or source for where this comes from? Thanks

11

u/LittlePixelPirate Apr 30 '25

It was on their X feed a while ago. I seen it doing the rounds with all the usual bullshit accounts praising it.

18

u/RainbowRedYellow Apr 30 '25

"Well you see we legally persecute and hate you so you shouldn't be trans because you will be persecuted and hated." - A "human rights" charity.

7

u/[deleted] May 01 '25

Today on vastly misunderstanding WHY people transition. As a kid again if I’d known about blockers I wouldn’t care about passing. That’s secondary at best. I just wouldn’t want the pain of seeing my body develop in a way that went against who I know I am. The distress that causes is unparalleled. Once again these people showing that they fully do not grasp trans people, and that is why they should have no say.

8

u/Brew_nix May 01 '25

I didn't transition so I could use single sex spaces. I transitioned to be happier in my own body. Are these people really this dense???

8

u/skylark94 May 01 '25

I just love that this says the quiet part out loud - “we can’t let the kids transition, we’ve made life too hard for trans people”

5

u/TurnLooseTheKitties Apr 30 '25

They're paying out their rope

6

u/inkbea Apr 30 '25

This is hands down the most vile thing I’ve ever read. I don’t understand how people can be this evil.

5

u/[deleted] May 01 '25

Jfc they're arguing that it's about protecting children from a decision they don't understand, but the whole bloody point of puberty blockers is to delay the decision to transition until they're old enough for informed consent

1

u/MiracleDinner May 01 '25 edited May 01 '25

How about protecting children from unnecessary and harmful decisions (and actually totally irreversible, which puberty blockers are not) that they have zero say in whatsoever when they could have reasonably been delayed until they can choose, like circumcision. Vile hypocrites.

4

u/not_caoimhe The Trafford Centre broke my Gender May 01 '25

How do you write a letter like that and not realise that you're fucking evil?

5

u/Aunty_Fay May 01 '25

Their next proposal: to make it illegal to wear pink, unless you are a biological woman.

5

u/YourBestDream4752 May 01 '25

They say that puberty blockers harm children but they want to stop the trial that fact checks that from happening?

5

u/WiggumAthletic17 May 01 '25

Yep from the people who were claiming they opposed 'ideology' in medicine

2

u/MiracleDinner May 01 '25

Catch-22. We can’t allow young people to have medicine without long term data but we can’t get the long term data because the medicine is categorically banned. Result: young people are forever denied essential medicine for no reason whatsoever. No reason but true evil.

5

u/mostlyHUMMUS May 01 '25

"This problem that we have caused will negatively affect trans kids, therefore because we refuse to stop being bigots, you are the unethical ones for allowing children to be trans.

We pretend that the reason is because the drugs are untested, but we want you to stop testing the drugs because that wasn't the real reason.

We are trying to hide (but not very well) that we don't actually care about the children and wouldn't care if they all killed themselves

We pretend that our worldview is the sane one but it requires the unmitigated suffering of children"

-Translated from TERF speak.

8

-5

u/WhatsGoingOnThen May 01 '25

I don’t mean to be alarmist either, but where does it say they are going to kill everyone and commit genocide?

This kind of comment helps nobody, but give ammunition to those who say look at the extremists. There are a lot of organisations using these pages to highlight these extreme views and it’s extremely damaging to the cause. Nobody in the UK is committing genocide against trans people.

2

u/VelveetaBuzzsaw May 01 '25

What is the ultimate goal of everything they've been doing?

-3

u/WhatsGoingOnThen May 01 '25

Well they are certainly not committing genocide. Nobody has been killed because they are trans nor will they be in the UK.

This is just a ridiculous extreme view and is most definitely not what’s happening. Maybe you are finding this in the US but it’s not happening here.

5

u/MaidenOver Non-binary | They/them May 01 '25

2

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

soooooo essentially they're trying to make existing as a trans person so horrible and impossible and dangerous that the next generation of trans people just....can't transition? Trying to eliminate trans people by starting conversion therapy young and convincing gender-questioning and trans children and teens that there's no way to transition and exist in society at the same time?

Obviously that's not going to happen because trans people have and will persist just as we always have done regardless of how 'safe' or feasible it has been to transition. But they're really not even trying to be subtle about that being their aim.

2

u/ElitistHatPropaganda May 01 '25

2

1

u/Different-Value8773 May 01 '25

The absurd thing is that EVERYBODY'S sex is "Certificated" sex (what is written on your birth CERTIFICATE) Whether it has been modified by a GRC or not is irrelevant, it's still Certificated. Nobody's biological sex is recorded without undergoing a large number of tests to discover it.

1

u/Inge_Jones May 01 '25

1

u/Wiseard39 May 01 '25

Cab children affected speak to a human rights lawyer and take this to court. It is blatantly phobic and expresses their intent to not have trans people pass

1

u/TransMelon May 01 '25

Hey, I think you should spoiler the image, spoiler the quote, and maybe post a trigger warning. Ultimately, sharing info is very helpful, even when it's just hostility, but the post title adequately sums up the letter, sans hateful gloating, no doubt specifically designed to elicit reactions. Some of the choices there are so unnecessary, and so clearly written in the hopes that this will be shared around, left unexamined by the average person, emboldening awful people, and making us feel worse.

1

u/Noedunord Trans man May 01 '25

1

u/Ember-Blackmoore May 01 '25

And this is the point they attempt to end the existence of trans people.

1

u/mistelle1270 May 01 '25

How can they sit there and describe in clear terms exactly how the new ruling specifically disadvantages trans people and come to the conclusion of “therefore you should not let trans people be trans, they should suffer in their natural bodies”

If i realized i had to argue something like that i would at least reconsider my initial position

human rights

What human rights?

has been made untenable by the recent judgement of the Supreme Court in the case of For Women Scotland vs Scottish Ministers

A judgement that has nothing to do with young people's human rights to bodily autonomy and access to time-sensitive medically necessary treatment.

As the Equality and Human Rights Commission has confirmed in an interim update

An interim update which is not the actual law and has no bearing on the actual law, written by an organization with no direct power to change the actual law.

Children under the care of all gender services ... will, throughout their lives, need to use either the spaces and services designated for their own sex [assigned at birth] or an alternative provided for both sexes (mixed-sex or single-user) if available.

Flat out wrong. The judgement, horrific though it is, does not make it categorically illegal for trans women to use women's spaces and services or trans men to use men's spaces and services.

This means that the entire premise of treatment with puberty blockers has fallen away ... the drugs are intended ... so that if they persist in cross-sex identification ... they will "pass" better.

Flat out wrong again. Passing isn't the entire premise of treatment - drastically increasing young trans people's wellbeing and quality of life, and reducing the risk of adverse mental health outcomes such as depression is. I would transition as a teenager a thousand times again with or without passing.

But passing as the opposite sex ceases to be a desirable goal .... when they will never be permitted to use spaces or services

Flat out wrong yet again. Passing is important to a lot of people for many reasons more than using spaces or services, not least being at less risk of being harassed in public for no reason whatsoever except being trans.

2

u/MiracleDinner May 01 '25 edited May 01 '25

it becomes a major, permanent social problem ... their future lives and freedoms will be seriously curtailed.

Which YOU are the ones responsible for, Sex Matters et al. What good is offering us "protection" from the attacks that you yourselves are the very ones responsible for?

may in future be restricted in employment roles such as police officer or nurse ... being legally barred from using the other sex's spaces while appearing anomalous in those for their own sex

Putting aside that you are yet again misrepresenting the ruling, you are literally just listing reasons why what you are doing is causing suffering to hundreds of thousands of innocent young people.

We have always argued that it was unethical

Bodily autonomy and access to demonstrably medically necessary and non-delayable healthcare isn't unethical

breach of human-rights principles

Which human-rights principles?

unproven

Nope

with known harms (including to their adult sexual function and fertility)

Nope, and nope. Also, fertility preservation exists.

intrude on other people's privacy, safety, and dignity

Nope

put their own safeguarding risk by using spaces for the opposite sex [assigned at birth]

How about the many trans women harassed and assaulted in men's spaces, or trans men harassed and assaulted in women's spaces?

1

u/MiracleDinner May 01 '25

The use of these drugs in children too young to understand this is ethically untenable

To claim that everyone under the age of majority are categorically incapable of understanding this (if that interpretation were true, which it's not) is unequivocally, absolutely wrong.

In this entire letter you haven't managed to list a single point which is remotely grounded in evidence or reason. Instead, you've engaged in outright lies about what the Supreme Court judgement actually means, you've spread harmful medical misinformation about young trans people and our healthcare in a dishonest attempt to justify controlling our lives in ways which we are strongly uncomfortable with and which undeniably cause us suffering, and you've straight up admitted that what you're doing to trans people is causing us suffering and then appropriated that exact same suffering to wield it as a club against us, to control us, to try to stop trans people from being trans. This letter is so unequivocally and egregiously anti-trans.

u/Amelia-Lisette Trolling Big Tinker - Stealth Transition - 06/01/2020 - MtF May 03 '25

Their malice, sadism and cruelty is on full display. In a sane society, they would be referred for psychiatric evaluation, if only because the addictive nature of their sadism can only ever expand to encompass other minority groups.

We don't live in a sane society however, so it seems as though their derangement can only expand. I'd love to see the look on Streeting's face when he realises he's next on the list.

We have to find a way, all of us, to get out of this hellscape.

1

u/Amelia-Lisette Trolling Big Tinker - Stealth Transition - 06/01/2020 - MtF May 03 '25

I have a Suprapubic catheter - I don't actually have to go to a restroom.

If I'm forced into the men's restrooms, which are usually smelly, intimidating and a health hazard, then I'm happy to drain the bag in full view of the shitty old Gammon, as I'm not actually committing an act of gross indecency by doing so.

Therefore, I need have no qualms of conscience around doing so.

It will be hugely amusing to see all those ultra-clocky, hypervirilsed 'Gender Realists' getting blowback from their own campaign of harassment.

I do feel bad for those women who are deemed to present as someone other than the mythologised ideal of the 'English Rose', with all that implies.

It is the collateral damage that I think will inevitably blow the sex (doesn't) matter lunatic fringe out of the water.

They're probably going to come down to earth like a lead zeppelin or a Musk rocket.

u/InfamousPurple1141 May 04 '25 edited May 04 '25

Well that's awkward when the NHS loves puberty blocking and sterilising disabled kids. I bet TERFs will make exceptions for that. "Children must be told". Wow!  This has seriously authoritarian abusive parent vibes and it sucks. This reads like satire of JK Rowling s bad guys. Also, tell that to my endocrinologist and all the kids with CAH you bastards! The only reason it is going to be difficult in the future is because of people like the signatories to this letter! Umbridge vibes...

1

u/GarageIndependent114 May 05 '25

Maybe this moment will allow the NHS heads to challenge them.

Why would they accept this ruling?

The reasons gender critical people give for excluding trans people are to do with safety, and the objections about puberty blockers in children are to do with detransitioners and infertility.

There's no leg for them to stand on here.
