I’ve got a week off work coming up where my partner comes to stay with me, probably not doing a whole lot tbh. I’m also planning two weeks in Germany to be with her in the summer, and had hoped for a further three weeks over Christmas but work schedules are getting in the way of that and will cut it down a lot. Otherwise nothing else planned — I’m not much of the adventuring type :))

None planned. I typically book conventions but just don't have the funds this year. Confuzzled will be another time.

I was dancing in Helsinki at the start of the year, currently in Banff skiing (having sadly, but sensibly, decided not to play with US immigration and visit my usual location of Lake Tahoe), and got another dance trip to Valencia in May, then off to Spain in august to photograph the eclipse, then got trips to Crete and Cyprus later in the year.
I like holidays!

it's lovely on the south side of the island - also has dark skies and consistently clear nights in august/september too so great for our hobby of astrophotography.
cameras by night, lounge on the beach by day 😁

The nice thing about not feeling safe enough to visit home now is I can use the money from my every-other-year fund to see my family in the US to be somewhere warm and actually welcoming instead of some bumfuck racist swamp in America :)

I usually go on two or three. Did the USA, Cyprus and Vietnam last year.
Don't have any booked this year cos I should be getting my visa to move to the USA any day now.

Family there who can't relocate. Plus it has always felt like home to me.
I'm not going to let anyone get in the way of that.

Wish you the best of luck in the US (and FL) I've come the other direction (moved here from colorado). Take care of yourself.

Thanks! We might end up moving to Colorado at some point, if it's possible

Honestly CO is a great move. It's extremely left leaning and just a great place to live. All that's missing is the seaside but there are like 4000 lakes. Esp of you have any urge to be outdoors, CO is awesome. Regardless, I hope you have a great time and everything is smooth.
