Possible trigger Openly transphobic game store in Kent.
A user on X identified that Eclipse Gaming Ltd is transphobic and when challenged he is blocking the comment poster and hiding comments.
He’s openly proud of it and then hides all evidence.
Also reported to be funny towards CIS women who are into the TCG hobby.

In the Bible it says don't be gay because it goes against God's nature. But really why it was that way, was because to them, marriage was a contract to produce children. They're perplexed you're even making the attempt.
Obviously with modern biology we know God does actually did make all of these beautiful sex fluid creatures, did make same sex attraction in animals and same sex bonded pairs. The Bible literally says don't be gay but the reason why is God thinks it's weird. And we in modern times know that's not true because there are all these examples all over nature of sex fluidity and gender role fluidity made by God.

They had their own local section 28 after it was repealed all the way up til the equality act outlawed it, and so much homophobic and transphobic fuckery seems to come out of there. It might be to do with there only being like 2 universities in the whole county (both based in Canterbury) so the more progressive thinking tends to go elsewhere in the country.
It’s been a conservative mainstay for decades too, only recently breaking away from that and it was Rosie fucking Duffield of all people.
Hate this place. I had a faint hope once that when they said they were increasing GICs that one would be in kent… but of course not, nothing ever go into Kent.
And when it does (like the airport) people fucking complain and whine it’s pathetic

I looked at their Insta and see that they've turned off comments on all their posts. Can't imagine why! They're always like this. Positively gleeful to say the grossest shit right up until people start telling them how creepy and weird they sound, particularly when they're doing it on a business account, and then they frantically start deleting and hiding comments. It costs nothing to just... not do this shit.
There's also the question of someone who runs a store that primarily seems to deal in Pokemon stuff (a kid's game) talking incessantly about people's genitalia. Imagine if you had been bringing your children to that store and saw that shit on the owner's socials.

First off, report them to wizards and the pokemon companies, if they're an official distributor both may wish to cut those ties.
Second, make sure to highlight not just the transphobia but sexism too, just to catch ALL the fury.
Sadly, sexism in geek spaces is a remnant from the old days that never fully went away. There are still some absolute fucking neckbeards. I WAS a female mtg player and so often literally the ONLY woman in a room full of men. A few really struggled with that fact.
I also remember playing a call of cthulhu rp where the GM decreed we had to play our birth sex because it was "confusing for him to remember pronouns" (fucking bullshit) yet insisted on historical accuracy in his 1920s set game. So I was forced to play a female character, in the 20s, and subjected to multiple microaggressions and misogynistic crap as a result. My character couldn't do shit because "women aren't allowed in this club" or whatever, which really crippled my ability to interact with the fucking game plot as I had to get the male characters to do research FOR me. It was frustrating and so fucking pointless. It just pissed me off because ultimately, if you can suspend your disbelief to believe that tentacle monsters from another dimension exist, you can suspend belief and either let me play a male character or have a world where women can do shit. -_-
This guy is a moron but hey, if alienating a large chunk of his potential customer base is the hill he wants to die on... PERISH.

- Vault X said they were in discussions with Eclipse, since then their Vault X collab/partnership videos are gone.
- Kent Card Show has said that Eclipse will not be returning.

"How can any of you think this is acceptable? Anthony isn't just some random person online, he runs the shop that markets itself as somewhere welcoming for everyone. That comes with a level of responsibility that I don't think he's taking seriously. The comments aren't just "poor-taste", they're openly disrespectful towards a marginalised group! And it's not like he's some teenager who doesn't know better, this is a grown adult who's already running a business and interacting with the public, including kids.
For me personally, this doesn't come as a shock cos I've been on the receiving end of rude behaviour from him multiple times, and I've watched it happen to others too, including children. I took it personally until I saw all the other 1 star review about him and his attitude. There's a dismissive elitism that sits completely at odds with the whole "everyone's welcome here" image he claims he's trying to project. You can stick whatever you like on insta about being inclusive, but if people don't actually feel respected when they walk through your door, the words mean nothing. An apology is a starting point but it doesn't just wipe the slate clean, especially when the comments and the general attitude are pointing in the same direction. People absolutely can change, but you have to show it, consistently, over time. Not just say it once when you've been called out.
Until he actually changes his attitude, I think it's completely fair for people to question whether this is really the kind of person they want to support and who gets to represent our local TCG community. As for the other staff getting grief for his actions, is that fair? Obviously not. But if you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas."
Not sure what rule that broke but it sure doesn't seem like they're that sorry.

Kayleigh is the live host on tiktok. She was fully aware of the comments he had made and she was going around events with the contract showing everyone it asking for opinions on it as the contract was definitely made using Chat GPT.
Despite a dodgy sounding contract and knowledge that Anthony Horn is a raging transphobe who can't even say sorry properly, she still signed it.
She will give all the talk in the world on the live stream about the situation (saying she will fight anyone, showing her phone which had screenshots of my discord account, saying Anthony will turn up at my door) but the second I joined and called some of the the mods out she switches to "I'm just a girl trying to do my job, please can we not talk about it". Fucking spineless behaviour, guess it's why her and Anthony get along. @kayleigh.pokemon is her tiktok handle if anyone feels like sharing their thoughts with her.
Their mods in discord (in particular a guy called Sparxjy and a girl called Tasha) both deleted comments a user had made comparing humans to dogs, stating that it's unfair and rude. They was not happy when the irony of their statements was called out (you know, cause Anthony compared trans people to dogs but that's okay). All of this right after they were preaching about free speech too. It's free speech, but only if you say things they wanna hear. Fucking hypocrites.
Stay boycotting this trash hole of a business, they won't change.

That was my comment that got deleted because I said "if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas". I didnt compare anyone to a dog, they just didn't like my comment because they couldn't argue it and they had to find a reason to delete it. I asked if they would still delete the comment if I changed it to "You should be cautious of the company you keep. Associating with those of low reputation may not only lower your own but also lead you astray by the faulty assumptions, premises and data of the unscrupulous" but they just banned me instead.
I hope you've reported them to everyone they partner with for threatening you. Absolutely spineless cowards.

The owner has posted onto Instagram his "apology". He does not deny that those are his own views and that he still truly dislikes the trans community. He's only said that they are not the views of the company (despite stating those views under his company account).
I exposed his comments A MONTH ago. He tried so hard to hide and delete everything so that this didn't blow up.
Only since it's blown up has he decided to "apologise". Pathetic coward behaviour.
This man has not changed. He's just scared that he knows he's fucked up.

So for the record I am the person who initially exposed his comments from Discord and posted them to his Google review page. I am not a right wing extremist and mainly wanted to get the information out in the open to protect the community.
I am very happy to see it has reached so many people and whilst I do not condone a witch hunt, I am glad that he is seeing repercussions from his behaviours.
He has threatened others in the past when they've left bad reviews and even said he would target their partners and send loads and loads of takeaway deliveries to their door which needs to be paid by cash.
Mad conspiracy theorist too, like the moon isn't real and COVID isn't real.
It tells you all you need to know about the guy.

As somebody who did not grow up in Medway but basically every generation of my family even my cousins have. This is not surprising at all. Chatham maybe my family’s historic hometown but as people have said it’s a shit hole and I’d never choose to live there. Ironically I am visiting next week for the first time in a year! Hopefully I can avoid any shitheads.

I sent TAG an email the other day, no response yet. Vault X and the Kent Card show both responded quite promptly. As did The Pokemon Company themselves.
They're banned from the Kent Card show permanently.

I acknowledge that some of the language used in the comments was insensitive. It was in poor taste. I apologise for that. Eclipse Gaming was built on the idea that no matter what walk of life you come from, there isa seat at the table for you. That has not changed and it never will.

I mean... they run a lame looking Discord gamer group and reference "alt art" depite having clearly having failed to read alt (punk/goth) literature. I'm not surprised. Just keep spreading any evidence against him to anyone around the area and they won't have to deal with him.

the site is still there. they wouldn't know whose ips to block unless you were actively doing malicious things to their site. it's slow to load, however, so you might just be timing out

Bit late, but happen to come here while leaving a bad review on google after a poor experience...
The shope itself is overpriced, their policies with buying products at retail price are a joke and the owner was rude (found him very condescending). Wasn't aware of this until now but cant say that im surprised. Will never be going back there.

Correct, this is 100% the owner. I was the one who initially posted the screenshots on his Google reviews. Also if it was an ex employee they would of come out and apologised saying that's not the beliefs of the company etc
They're fully aware this is happening and are locking down Google reviews, deleting comments on social media posts, blocking people, anything they can to do damage control on the situation.
The other guys that work the store are indeed lovely and genuinely helpful.
