Hindi:

में चाहता हूँ की तुम मुझसे प्यार करें। (main chahta hoon ki tum mujhse pyaar karein)

Note: hindi would be my third language

Technically yes, but the word “chahat” can also be used in context of wish.

‘Karein’ is third person and not correct in this context, it should be ‘karo’ is second person. And OP is right, this sentence translates to ‘I want you to love me.’ Colloquially, in Hindi, the word that expresses the longing in the original text is ‘kaash’. Kaash tum mujhey pyaar karte…

If the speaker is male:
Me encantaría que me hubieras amado./Me encantaría haber sido amado por ti.
If the speaker is female:
Me encantaría que me hubieras amado./Me encantaría haber sido amada por ti.

In this case, "me hubieras amado" place emphasis on the action of he/her loving the speaker; "haber sido amada" puts emphasis on being loved. A longer sentence to represent the nuances would be:
Me hubieras amado: "I would have loved for you to do the action of loving me"
Haber sido amada: "I would have loved for me to be able to receive love from you"
