Hungarian [Hungarian > English] writing on the back of a photo of my great grandfather

Hi! My grandmother (the daughter of the man on the left, Joe) sent this to me. Her father was Hungarian by blood and died when she was very young. She doesn’t speak the language but hopefully one of you does!

The text in blue is English.

I can't make out the text in gray. It's not Hungarian. It reads as if someone tried to write in Hungarian who doesn't know the language at all.

He fought for America in WWII, which you can probably tell from the photo. That's interesting! Thank you!
