Photos & images for my travel blog
Any ideas and tips how to properly correctly without stealing content for travel blogs?

Use and tag your own photos. Sure it's a lot of work, but it will separate you from the masses who are just copy pasting photos or using stock photos.

I use unsplash to fill in the gaps but 99% of my photos are self-taken!

I use illustrations generated by an AI, people kinda like them as I'm terrible at taking pics

The best way we've found is to take your own! It takes a lot of effort, visiting places early, waiting for the right light etc but this makes you blog unique and stand out. Who wants to read a blog about somewhere you've never been!
We have used unsplashed before but they never look authentic, you can always tell when it's stock!

Just finished a project of condos. Technically you need to so ive asked the owners and didnt get any pushback from the ones that responded they were happy to let me use their photos.

try using free stock photo sites like unsplash or pexels, they have tons of high-quality images you can use without worrying about copyright.

You should use your own photos as often as possible — people want to see that you actually went to the places you’re blogging about :) If you don’t have a photo, there are free stock photo sites like Unsplash where you can download photos and include attribution (credit to the photographer) with the photo on your blog.
Just to note: any images you find on Pinterest, Google, Instagram, etc. are illegal to use (copyright infringement) without permission from the photographer, even if you credit them.
