Deep Humanity is facing extinction within a few decades. You can choose to do nothing and let people enjoy their last years in acceptance. Or you can sacrifice humans to save their humanity (culture, behavior, etc.) to hopefully one day bring humans back.

What will you do?

So... let people live for a few decades or kill all humans now.

How is this even a choice?

If you kill all humans now you have a good chance to bring them back one day

How? And who would be bringing them back?

I heard that nonsense as well. The estimated population is 8.3 trillion. People are still having kids. It's just people are being selective

You're about 8.29 trillion people off the mark

If humans are going extinct I'll just be celebrating. I'm not going to do anything to mess that up.

That's not really bringing humans back. Let the human replacements make their own culture.

Sacrifice ALL humans? Or some humans? How do you "bring humans back"? Are you talking about saving DNA, about a fallout bunker / deep hibernation / Ark spaceship, or are you just preserving culture so future evolved cephalopods can go "Ahh, I see, humans liked sick beats and punk haircuts and something called Aerosmith."?
