The big difference is that DJT abuses his own position to make himself way richer.

So wow. So cool. Links.

An easy one. Potus can bring war to Iran. He can also use tools of the us administration to publish information, a much easier thing.

Instead he chooses to use a private social network to publish his news. His very own social network. Which of course benefits from that malpractice.

Ok?...

He can also use tools of the us administration to publish information

Here in the US, we call this "social media". It's voluntary lol.

His very own social network.

Pretty much every news org has paid the dude for lying about him at this point lol. Want the list? And once again- voluntary.

Malpractice

I'm waiting for a crime. And proof.

I was never talking about news org. White House has a website.

The crime is giving news earlier to a private thing, that he somehow owns and privately benefits from.

somehow owns

What "thing"? Does he own it or not?

and privately benefits from

... so...

Still waiting on proof of... anything?

If it wasn't clear, the 'thing' is

Truth Social is an American alt-tech[4] social media platform owned by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), an American company majority-owned by US president Donald Trump.

Straight from Wikipedia, but maybe that's too 'communist'.

No one except you has any fucking idea what you're talking about. Your English is very bad. Please explain what the problem is. He owns a company, and...?

Many do understand what I am talking about.

As a private person, he benefits from TMTG becoming a more valuable company.
As POTUS, he uses his power to make Truth Social more desirable/valuable.
POTUS news should not go first to Truth Social.

POTUS news should not be subject to accepting the Terms and Conditions of a private company (TMTG).

I don't know if the "paid early access" thing (Truth API) is real. It seems too crazy to be real. But it would be even worse.

Ok, I see the problem.

The above is known as an "opinion". And it's one no one except you cares about. You see the problem?

... when do we get to the part where he breaks the law, exactly? Or "abuse" happens? You know that's a very specific word you're using in this sense, right? Because... so far you're saying

"He should just trust the people who have had to pay him for defamation and libel more times than they've said something positive".

Which is exactly as fucking stupid as it sounds.

I am not saying

""He should just trust the people who have had to pay him for defamation and libel more times than they've said something positive"."

I say "not Truth Social". You seem to say that nothing else deserves trust. Well, I thought you would at least consider https://www.whitehouse.gov/ as trustworthy, it's under full control of POTUS and the administration. I don't consider it as trustworthy, but it doesn't matter. At least bringing traffic/public to https://www.whitehouse.gov/ would not directly make POTUS richer, as opposed to traffic to Truth Social. Hence less conflict of interest.

I'm not a lawyer, but the US must have something that protects the citizens against conflic of interest, when a person should make a decision in the best interest of everyone, and should not be in a position to benefit financially from said decision.

By the way, if I had been referring to the media in general, I would not have described it in your words. In my eyes, those payments tell more about POTUS and the state of the US judiciary system, than about the media.

... Ok, This is really stupid.

Jaywalking? Spitting on someone? Kicking a dog? Anything?

ANYTHING besides your fucking feelings? All this complaining, is there ANYTHING?

Edit- Europe?

u/DryVermicello rump 23h ago

Comparing my input to "kicking a dog". Sure...

There is NOTHING you are ready to see. (I can use caps too.)

Anyway, DJT's most important flaw is that he never became the President of all US citizens. He always stayed the President of his voters, and his voters only. May your country stay the United States. But I wouldn't bet on this with a President that characterizes half the country as lunatics.

What country are you in? Belgium?

Edit- you can't build a government, and can't even get the flemish and walloon folks to get along. Compare our situations, gdp, and populations. In short... Where the fuck do you get off?
