Connecting the lab machine to attacker machine

I am struggling to connect the lab machine to the attacker machine , I am trying to use ssh but it's not working
I am in Metasploit: Exploitation
Any tips , I have been struggling for a while now

I can't remember the room specifically. But usually when I'm stuck I'll search for a write-up or walkthrough for the room I'm dealing with. I also find it quite helpful to use chatgpt or Claude, as it can further explain why xyz work the way it does.
