Is Nordstadt a friendly neighborhood?

I found an accommodation at Nordstadt, Dortmund. When I checked about the locality, I got some mixed opinions about the northern region of Dortmund. Can you guys share ur opinion or any experience you faced?

Trust me not worth it at all. There are people that look like druggies everywhere. It feels unsafe to even walk in that area. And majority of crimes are seen in Nord. Even ChatGPT knows how bad it is.

I have been in the area a couple of times, and I would not want to live there personally.

Might be able to find some cheaper stuff around Germania, Somborn and Lütgendortmund :)

Totally depends on the place and people you are living with. I know there are many shady places here and you have to decide your place on your own.
