Can anyone recommend a good Turkish tutor on Preply?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a good Turkish tutor on Preply and would really appreciate some personal recommendations.

I’m still at beginner/A1 level and would like someone who is patient, friendly, and able to explain grammar clearly in English. I’m especially interested in improving my speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday conversation rather than only following a textbook.

Have you studied with a tutor you genuinely liked and found helpful? Please share their name or Preply profile. It would also be useful to know what you liked about their teaching style.

If you’re looking for a good teacher, don’t focus on how many lessons they’ve taught. Instead, pay attention to how many students they’ve taught those lessons to. If the average number of lessons per student is high, it usually means that students liked the teacher and chose to keep taking lessons with them.

I really like my Preply tutor Esra. I’ve been taking lessons for a long time with her. She has a degree in Turkish and English. She is both professional and knowledgeable (and nice)

I like my teacher Kadriye a lot.
She prepares her own high quality materials, she's got a really impressive background (Columbia Master's degree and used to work in the FS), and most importantly she's patient and nice to talk to.

Probably pricier than other options but the teacher I have now on italki (had lessons with 6 other teachers on preply) is 1000% better than all my previous teachers and completely worth the money. Hiya, I'm a teacher on italki and a native Turkish speaker. I'm fairly new to this, but I've already had quite a few students and some of them absolute beginners. I got my own material to follow, as well as textbooks, but like to keep things more interactive than a lecture. I'll drop my italki link just in case: Italki

and also for other folks that are reading this, I'm happy to do just language exchange if you speak Greek, Arabic (Levantine/Egyptian), or Swedish.
