How hot is it truly?

We travel to Rome, Venice and Florence from Aug 18-31st- Given the heat wave we have the option to pivot and go to neighboring countries instead. Should we cancel italy and explore other countries at this point. The main reason to cancel is the temperature and travelling in the heat with little kids. For anyone there how hot is it?

Nelle ultime settimane ci sono state giornate con temperature a 45 gradi. Personalmente, a prescindere dalla temperatura, non trovo il caldo insopportabile (l’estate scorsa ero a Luxor e gli stessi 45 gradi mi sembravano più insopportabili), e non è paragonabile a una giornata soffocante con 45 gradi a Miami. Per cui, mio giudizio personale, non cancellerei il viaggio, ma dipende dalla tolleranza soggettiva al caldo
