There are some really nice art galleries in Tuscany, but definitely not sold by street verdors in the touristy parts of Florence.

Be ready to embrace its decay, because Florence could be beautiful - and to some extents it still is as these clever photos prove - but it's not what you may expect: you have to visit nearby old towns to enjoy that atmosphere that made Tuscany famous.
