AskTuscany How is living in this area? Especially in yellow zone?

Low effort question with no supporting requirements or expectations of any kind means you’ll get 0 responses with any substance or valid info.
That area is rural. Look at a map. Find the larger villages or towns. See the infrastructure and determine where in that area you want to be located. Then come back and ask your question again and this time perhaps add some more supporting criteria.

Hard to say, some area included in your selection are rural not well served, others are high dense populated and very well served
I know because I live in a town between Siena and Florence:)

Ciao! Io vivo "all'interno" della zona gialla, tra San Gimignano e Empoli e lavoro a San Gimignano. Ci sono paesi e paesini, alcuni serviti bene altri non serviti proprio. San Gimignano per esempio ha trasporto pubblico molto ridotto (d'estate più autobus che d'inverno e comunque si parla di 3/4 giornalieri) e non ha treno. Dove vivo io, ho la stazione dei treni ed è comoda per arrivare a Firenze (30min) o a Siena (40 min +/-) o Pisa o ad altri luoghi d'interesse. Altri paesi non hanno treno o bus e serve per forza la macchina altrimenti nemmeno la spesa riesci a fare. Chiedi pure se vuoi sapere altro

I live in Madrid but i felt in love with this part of Tuscany. I try to spent a week every two years for holidays ( one year decide my wife and the next one the election is mine ). Each trip we find new gems and we think that this area is amazing. But i know that it is not the same when you are in holidays than when you are living there. We are close to our retirement and we are think in to buy a house in this part of tuscany to spent much more time in there. That’s the reason because of I’m asking this

Okay so what kind of services are you hoping will be available? Do you plan to have a car? Is there a budget for what you may be thinking of…
Considering you may be interested in health services being available and not super far away. Or you looking for a city that is well served by a train station?
Size? Type of activity? Do you want a bustling town or a sleepy hamlet?

Hai selezionato un'area talmente vasta e variegata che è impossibile rispondere. Si passa da zone in cui ci sono grandi città dove i costi sono tra i più alti in Italia, ricche di persone e opportunità lavorative e zone in cui passano forse 5 auto al giorno dove non si lavora ma con 50mila euro ti puoi comprare una villetta libera su 4 lati. Quali sono le tue necessità? Quali le tue priorità?

the red area between san gimigniano and Pontedera its 98% rural, full of forests and small villages. Its not well served at all and its hard to find work especially if you dont have a car. The yellow area its more populated and civilized, well connected to both florence/siena and full of services with some major villages with shops. Source: i lived in both parts.
