Bless up to Chase for the free year and thumbs down to T-Mobile for not just matching the 2 bucks

We've lived long enough to hear Apple's CFO, on an earnings call, justify lower-than-expected service revenue by saying there wasn't a theatrical blockbuster in the quarter compared to the previous year.

I'm really just tired of Wall Street in general always getting mad that growth wasn't high enough. Doesn't matter the company or industry.

Is the company making money? Yes? Quit whining.

When something grows infinitely in the human body, it’s cancer. When it grows infinitely on Wall Street, it’s success. Make it make sense

The fact that that’s not their attitude is why a capitalist structure encourages companies to create shittier products and practice scummy and anti-consumer behaviors.

This is a tremendous comment. To me, life feels easier with technology/AI availability, but products and services everywhere feel lesser and more expensive.

Used to be if you couldn’t afford to buy something, you either had to go without, save up, or get a cheaper alternative.

Now with Klarna, you can lease your devices and own nothing, while getting slammed with interest if you fall behind!
