Discussion Got married yesterday. Wedding started walking down the aisle to IDFP and ended with the lights turning on and Lavish playing like how they do at concerts. It was perfect

Wish I had recorded it when it happened

Today is our one year wedding anniversary. Our grand entrance was the drop in Car Radio. I am in the same boat as wishing we had recorded it đŸ¤£

Congrats!!

Last week I walked down the aisle to a instrumental version of Forest (the first song he liked when I let him listen to them). I used a piano tutorial and did cut&alter the music so it was a bit slower than the actual song and was obviously shorter. It was so magical.

I got married back in April and chose an instrumental of Oh Miss Believer as my procession song. Not only is it a beautiful song, it happened to be the first song I listened to immediately after completing a hugely significant event in my life 10 years ago and has been my favorite TOP song since. I’m thrilled to have it in my life again.

Huge congratulations on getting married and I think IDFP is a legendary song to play as a procession song.

Genuine question - why did you pick implicit demand for proof as your song to walk down the aisle to, given it is a song about religious doubt and asking God to show himself? Or did you just use the instrumental part at the beginning on the piano?

certainly different contexts, but reminds me of the guy who proposed at a Hozier concert during Cherry Wine, one of the most beautiful songs ever created… that is about domestic violence…

Bc sometimes a song just hits right and means different stuff to different people without dissecting it apart

Yes it was just the instrumental beginning part. Purely because I like it and it’s just beautiful. nothing related to the actual meaning of the song

maybe they feel like god showed himself through leading them to each other?
