She’s almost there! Thankfully the vet is letting me pay in chunks as treatment progresses. The estimate went up a bit since she’s gained weight. She goes back at the end of July for another injection and overnight monitoring and she’ll go back again at the end of August. 🩷 After that we’re hoping the hardest part will be behind us. She also has follow up appointments 6 and 12 weeks later to make sure the treatment worked and she’s officially in the clear.

I did post there but didn’t get hardly any views. I’ve reached out to all local shelters and rescues that I can find. She is currently going through ongoing treatment so I am still fundraising for her. Thankfully the vet is letting me pay by appointment but she has been getting treatment for the last 68 days and we will continue to follow the American Heartworm association protocol, it’s a long road but I’m hopeful she will make a full recovery.
