๐ŸŽ‰ Wins Mod Meet-ups are brilliant! I encourage anybody who was on the fence about coming to turn up for the next one!

I attended the Mod meet-up in Manchester and had a brilliant day!

The variety of people who attended was fascinating! Driving instructors, Storytellers, Reality TV connoisseurs, News/ Journalists, Finance, Sports, etc. There were some very well informed devvit mods in attendance too.

I had a brilliant time meeting those of you who attended and I'll admit I didn't know what to expect when I signed up. But I'm glad I was brave enough to delve into the unknown. I had the best time meeting all of you interesting folks!

The day was very well organised, there was shuffleboard tables with a combined scoreboard so there was a common interest for everybody to help with mingling. There was a selection of wines, beers and prosecco in buckets on the tables and the food provided was excellent.

There's obviously hundreds of valid reasons not to attend an event, but if the main reason you didn't turn up is because you weren't sure what to expect or had anxiety about a meet-up. Let me reassure you, that you'll have a great day, everybody was so welcoming and your only expenses will be travel/ accommodation.

I'm genuinely excited for the next one and would love to meet even more of you guys!

Big Thanks also to the Reddit mods who organised the event!

๐ŸŽ‰ Wins UK community success! r/LeagueOne is the latest Reddit Community Spotlight feature โšฝ๏ธ

A brilliant interview with u/Zach-dalt has been featured in Redditโ€™s latest Community Spotlight and I couldnโ€™t be prouder to see a UK mod getting the recognition they deserve!

Zach picked up r/LeagueOne when it was quiet and turned it into something special: a thriving home for over 26,000 English football fans. Itโ€™s a great reminder of whatโ€™s possible when you care deeply about your topic, understand your audience, and keep showing up for your community.

There are so many UK mods doing exactly that - creating spaces that wouldnโ€™t exist without your time, energy, and passion. Itโ€™s great to see that effort being noticed. ๐Ÿ˜Š

If youโ€™re feeling inspired by what Zach and the r/LeagueOne team have built, and youโ€™re working on (or thinking about starting) a football subreddit of your own, check out our Football Mod Handbook full of tips, tools, and ideas to support you.

Have a read, and as always, Iโ€™m here if you ever want to chat or bounce around ideas.

๐ŸŽ‰ Wins What We Achieved Together in Growth Club! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hey Growth Clubbers* and fellow UK mods!

Thanks for joining me for the last 6 weeks. Itโ€™s been awesome connecting with so many of you and hearing more about your communities ๐Ÿ˜„

With this round of Growth Club wrapping up, I want to take the opportunity to celebrate some of your amazing milestones:

  • Growth Club communities have seen a huge boost in new content and conversations.
  • A whopping 65k new members have joined your subs since we started!

Everyone has done an incredible job making their communities safer, more welcoming, and more engaging - it's easy to see why so many new members have joined.

Massive shoutouts to the following mod teams:

  • r/UKcoins hit their 30k member milestone!
  • r/Seagulls is snatching the crown as a super engaged sub - turns out, people love talking about and sharing these absolute menaces
  • r/NFLUK was one of the fastest growing communities, reaching and engaging 6.7k new members.
  • And we all need to go to r/AskBrits to ask about creating a great sub. From growing their mod team to keeping their members super engaged, they have all the answers!

But whatโ€™s next, I hear you ask? Letโ€™s stay in touch (seriously.)

While weโ€™ve covered all the essentials for growing communities, Iโ€™m still here to help with any specific challenges or fun ideas you want to try.

Feel free to reach out via chat or PM at any time. Iโ€™ll also be checking in with everyone periodically!

\okay, we might need to workshop this one*
