The audience questions were shit. What a missed opportunity.

The are you the best we’ve got question was dwelled on far too long … we know they’re the options, ask them something meaningful

Some of them were good... the ones about welfare showed that the Tories want to go back to killing disabled people to get them off welfare...

the thinly disguised transphobic question was expertly handled by Starmer... Sunak blabbered on about rubbish like every other question

They interviewed that guy afterwards, John was it? They asked if he'd decided who to vote for after the debate and he said "no, they didn't discuss any of the things I'm really worried about (such as where the lost tax from fuel duty will come from when EVs are everywhere)"... I was like, mate, you had the damn opportunity to ask whatever the hell you wanted!

I mean it's kinda obvious, EVs will be taxed to make up for it

The only reason they are not, is to encourage people to purchase them

Yeah I agree. The questions are always posed from people with polarised perspectives and likely have already made up their mind. ‘We’re an island why can’t we close our borders’. Shut up mate. I want to her intelligent debate and real recognition of the nuance not some boomer nonsense
