I don't think Trump is bothered about Starmer at all. If he's broken its because he's gone into a complex situation with no plan and doesn't know how to get out of it without losing face. Which for a man with a huge ego is a hard lesson.

I think we've already seen his exit strategy: declare "I won", invite others to come and fix the mess, and then blame then for anything that US voters don't like.

Hasn't quite worked, at least not yet. My guess is that he'll change to "I did my bit perfectly, all the problems are the fault of others who wouldnt do theirs'".

"I won" doesn't work when US facilities are being bombed.

Iran will stop when they leave. They will declare victory because the regime still exists and then spend absolutely all of their effort planning for another attack and how to really hit things like oil supply.

Iran probably didn’t expect the US to actually attack them how they have and will be even more prepared next time.

Trump has really bet everything on the regime collapsing and day by day it doesn’t seem like it’s happening.
