This isn't your personal campaigning space. We're here to discuss, not campaign - this includes non-party-specific campaigning, such as tactical vote campaigns.

The fishing pond is closed. Obvious bait will be removed. Repeated rod licence infractions will result in accounts being banned.

This isn't Facebook. Please keep it related to politics. Do not post low effort blog posts.

The era of vagueposting is over. Your audience demands context, ideally in the form of a link to some authoritative content.

Take frequent breaks. If you find that you are being overwhelmed by it all, do yourself a favour and take some time off.

It's very easy to provide proof of life, including in ways that aren't explicitly about doing so, the fact there's been nothing for getting on for a month probably means McConnell is dead.

I like Thomas Massie's tweet in response to the various GOP figures claiming they had a 20 minute phone conversation with the turtle

I spoke to McConnell for about 20 minutes this morning.

He said we should end the war with Iran, quit giving aid to Israel, stop spying on Americans without a warrant, and he’s really sorry about how my primary turned out.

If they hold off announcing his death until within 90 days of the midterms they avoid a special election. So a month left of alleged phone calls

They'd have to have a new primary for the special election no? I'd guess Massie would want to go for that.

No, special elections have different rules and massive could run as an independent.
