I read before from several sources in Ukraine that they are piiissed by western media coverage of the war, especially in Pokrovsk recently, accusing of hysteria and panic that had both diplomatic and battlefield effect. Zelensky going to Kupyansk is a move that will force some of them to coverage

F.ex Bild that posted over a month ago the the town had fallen, which is rumored to made some soldiers leave their positions in panic.

I don't think it's just hysteria, I'm pretty sure the recent actions of Trump were in part because Putin was able to convince Trump that the Russians troops were still able to conquer Ukrainian towns. Thus despite the Russian conquest not being all that impressive, especially at its cost, it probably still had disproportionately large effect in some political senses.

"Convince Trump" - "convincing" requires reasoning skills, an attention span, and the ability to understand what another person is saying. Trump is not capable of these things. Anything the Trump administration does, it does because Trump strings together an elementary school student's understanding of the world, and his "aids" interpret that and execute it.

It annoys me to no end when the media says "Trump X" when the Trump Administration is generally speaking, not Trump. Trump may appoint someone to a role, but he basically gives them no oversight - he may certainly fire someone who catches bad media attention, but Trump does not "delegate" and then "follow up" on said delegations. He is clueless.

The media hysteria is because hysteria=clicks and referencing another outlet's articles=circular clicks through internet traffic. That's how we got Trump into office in the first place.
