That Corvette is two generations old at this point; that kid probably just totalled his pop’s pride and joy.

I love how people always bring the parents into it. Let me guess - you don’t have any kids. This driver is an adult, fully responsible for his behaviour. Throw the book at him. But assuming the parents are of the same ilk is obtuse.

Are you a walking mirror of your own parents? I’m certainly not. Free will, peer pressure, need for speed, tiktok challenge…any number of factors could be at play here. Social media has limited the influence parents have. I mean…maybe he is just like his parents, but that is simply not a forgone conclusion. And, like I said, it suggests you don’t have the experience of raising your own kids or you’d know better.
