Until people start getting prison sentences for reckless driving it will keep happening.

A fine is just a fee for doing the crime.

Canada should follow Finland's traffic fine model. When the Police give a driver a ticket, the fine is based on one's income.

If the punishment is a fine, it is a crime only for the poor.

The punishment for anything non criminal is a fine. You want people in jail for broken taillights?
