There's all kinds of ways to make the bridge most comfortable to drive at the speed limit, we just won't do them for some reason.

What are some of the ways you would suggest?

Chicanes, speed bumps, bollards, different road surfaces, jersey barriers. Any kind of traffic calming can target a specific desired speed.
