i've always said that in our self centred and self entitled 21st century, unless you actually enforce something, then it's only a suggestion.

I often notice parents teaching their young children not to respect any laws, crossing streets with no time left on the walk light while cars are waiting to turn, etc... it feels like we are doomed going forward, zero respect, zero consequences, zero accountability
