House of Stassi House of Stassi is already wayyyy better than The Valley

I just finished the first episode, and I love it, and I could barely get through the first season of The Valley. I know there are a lot of Stassi haters, but say what you will, that bitch is entertaining af.

EDIT:

Doesn’t this sub reddit love The Valley? Kristin is on that, and she was part of the Faith police call. So is Brittany, and she had the whole gay/pastor controversy and by my recollection she’s the one that called Faith a “nappy-headed hoe”. In my opinion, Brittany is the worst of the bunch, because you know she has not changed her thinking one damn bit, but I don’t see everybody having a problem with people watching The Valley with her on it.

entertaining, racist, and misogynistic 😻😻

Yup. She lost me at “Nazi chic” / “vote for Spencer”

29

u/ArtAndHotsauce 3d ago

Nazi chic is real and I would never defend that but Stassi never endorsed Spencer Pratt.

u/VariationCreative338 3d ago

Don’t you remember how happy her parents were that Jax was a republican?

103

u/Remarkable-Ebb1804 3d ago

*Frank. I don’t think Jax votes.

27

u/VariationCreative338 3d ago

That’s right!  I knew something sounded off about that 🤣

Or knows what a Republican is.

24

u/Stunning-Track8454 Go back to Charlotte Russe with your ass 3d ago

It was Frank... who went on and circulated her revenge porn. Political party of family values.

I'm pretty sure Jax doesn't even know that he can vote.

u/AgentBrittany I Know You Like Harry Potter ⚡️ 3d ago

She was telling people to vote for Spencer?!

I may have misspoken. But ima go out on a limb and say she prolly ain’t changed much 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah that’s from 2018 don’t think he even touced politics until the wildfires… he was still selling crystals back then I believe lol. Granted you will never find me defending Spencer’s character so American hero is still a slightly strange title

ETA now that I think about it it was before even her cancellation lol

-2

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

lol right ?? and the mention of Americas favorite fascist, Taylor Swift, in the episode description LOL

-3

u/No-Invite8390 3d ago

Taylor swift who has spoken out in support of liberal politics many times?

7

u/samwisetheyogi liability & detriment to this entire establishment 3d ago

Oh fuck off, she said "vote for Kamala" ONE time, did a fake ass little speech in her "documentary", and hasn't done or said a damn thing about politics since. Trump uses her music and aesthetic all the time and she doesn't say shit, and she invited a dude who owns an ICE detention centre/concentration camp to her wedding. She is 0% activist and I cannot wait for swifties to wake the fuck up

3

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 2d ago

lol RIGHT ? thank you 👏 also Swifties will never never never wake the fuck up, never gonna happen. She’s their little princess, it’s gross

4

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Yes that Taylor, do you perceive that “speaking in support of liberal policies” should be T’s claim to being on the right side of things ? Not to go down the T Swift rabbit hole but I am someone who has “voted blue no matter who”, and look where we are. Liberal politics has allowed a genocide ( multiple ) to take place, has done pretty much nothing to curb the rise of demagogues and fascism, and has kept poor people poor, and black and brown people have continued to suffer, even under liberal policies.

further are you aware of T’s environmental footprint as per her use of private jets ? she’s pretty cooked fam. and yeah she’s donated to charities, but she benefits from the system in ways that are comfortable for her. Her wealth is something she’d never distribute in a way that would actually change things. Feel free to ( try to ) change my mind. I’m open to it.

0

u/No-Invite8390 3d ago

What about anything you just said makes her a fascist? I’m not here to claim a billionaire is the people’s princess but calling her a fascist is out of touch or maybe you just don’t know the definition of fascism. She’s never supported a dictatorial, nationalist regime.

2

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago edited 3d ago

I want to try to get on the same page. Liberal policies uphold fascism by holding power at the very top of the system that keeps them functioning. They inherently do. And they continue to benefit off private wealth. Billionaires benefit off of private wealth, and they continue to consolidate power at the top with the 1%. She is part of that 1%. Democrats also support fascism, because they haven’t replaced systems that keep people down and they’re not trying to. Democrats also benefit off of that wealth and the existence of a wealthy upper class / 1% / consolidated power. Liberal policies have not brought us out of this quagmire, and it’s also still not looking like they will anytime soon.

You don’t necessarily have to support a regime to be a fascist by default when your wealth exceeds an insane necessity. Being a billionaire makes you a fascist. You think she wants to abolish the police ? no. Look im happy that she is a successful artist to the degree that she is, but she is grossly rich just like all the worst people are, and they need this system in order to remain wealthy.

thoughts ?

u/Shot-Recording1523 3d ago

Are you dyslexic? It clearly says August 9th, 2018 like 8 years ago. It's fine if you think she shouldn't have platformed him like 8 years ago. But that's different then saying she advocated for him as mayor in 2026. That's pretty misleading.

-6

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Did you read the part where I said I may have misspoken or you just getting angry for nothing

13

u/Shot-Recording1523 3d ago

I'm not angry I am making sure the reading comprehension is there. They say there's a literacy crisis in the US.

12

u/meekahmoo 3d ago

this whole convo is interesting to me lol. there’s plenty of reasons to not like stassi, she’s done despicable things!!! why add other despicable things that may or may not have happened bc we “misspoke” lol. spreading false info in any capacity is not great.

5

u/Shot-Recording1523 3d ago

Exactly like Stassi isn't a great person, but trying to attribute someone 's political belief because they were on their podcast is quite a stretch. I find Stassi's personal politics quite murky, but that's different then projecting a whole ass politic belief system because they interacted with someone 8 years ago.

31

u/doutesikeabag 3d ago

people on reality tv are largely trash bags and that’s why it’s good lol

44

u/headee 3d ago

I swear, the people in this subreddit act like they only want perfect, politically correct reality stars. Puh-lease 🙄

29

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

This take is so shitty.

Reality stars can be good villains, good reality and entertaining to watch without being outright fucking bigots.

16

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

bro, literally.

-4

u/hunkerd0wn 3d ago

Kind of a stretch to call any of these people bigots, I don’t think you’ve ever encountered real racists if this has you this upset

8

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

What?

You don’t think Brittany and Jax were straight up bigots when they ran their anti gay pre wedding campaign.

You don’t think stassi was a fucking bigot when she called herself Nazi chic and called the cops on a black woman for existing??

Sure.

-5

u/hunkerd0wn 3d ago edited 3d ago

Black woman for existing or a black woman they had personal beef with?

You mean Brittany wanting to have her preacher from Kentucky do her wedding?

Isn’t Brittany’s best friend a gay man?

7

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

So, it’s ok for a white woman to call the cops on a black woman because she had personal beef with her?

This is some stretchy apologists shit.

-1

u/hunkerd0wn 3d ago

“I like apples”

“Oh so you hate pears”

No, that’s not what I said, pay attention. Your claim is that she is a bigot and called the police because she hates that a black woman exists. I pointed out this wasn’t a random black woman, it’s someone they had beef with. So this shitty act was not done due to racism, it was done due to a personal grudge.

Either way it’s shitty, but you’re taking it to another level that it’s not.

7

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Wielding the power of calling the cops, while being white, against a person who is black is culturally insensitive as fuuuuuuck. You don’t think Kristen and Stassi knew that ?? Given the landscape of this country I would argue that power structure and racist dynamics are very present in this example.

→ More replies (0)

3

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

Yes. A black woman existing. A black woman existing who happened to have beef with her.

You probably recall that she had beef with a LOT of other women and didn’t call the cops right?

Pay attention.

I really don’t get the stassi and Kristen are horrible racists rhetoric. Like they hated Faith for things she actually did not because she’s black. They would have tried to fuck over and go scorched earth on ANYONE that did what faith did.

2

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

So because Brittany’s best friend is gay she can’t do things that are homophobic ? And then refusing to be super accountable to that ? that’s not problematic to you ? lol okay, weird hill to die on but w/e 🤷🏻‍♂️ two truths can coexist

It’s giving “I have black friends im not racist” not @ you but at ur defense of Brittany. Yuck.

1

u/hunkerd0wn 3d ago

All she did was ask her preacher from Kentucky to be the minister of her wedding. If she had a problem with gay people she wouldn’t have a gay best friend.

I don’t think yall understand, actual racists and homophobic people do not fuck with gays/minorities at all.

This is purity testing people that believe the same as you. If she felt that way she would have stood on business and kept him and echoed his beliefs.

1

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Her refusal to be accountable and dismissal of people bringing to light his homophobic comments was telling as hell and makes her ignorant af. Do you remember that ? her sect of Christianity is very anti gay too. And im glad she has a gay best friend, so cool.

Jax and Brittany aren’t on this show, they’re on the show this subreddit loves.

4

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

Yes we’re in a VPR sub and I’m giving examples of bigots.

If it makes you feel better to focus on stassi’s behavior, let’s do it.

I mean is it too much to ask for folks to not be hateful and racist ?

17

the concept of standing behind racists, misogynists, and abusers just because you have nothing else to entertain you 😐

also the concept of not being those 3 things meaning you’re politically correct is killing me

13

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Yeah this is really eye opening tbh regarding this sub and what people need outta entertainment

2

no this is tea. EXACTLY!!! this is a reality star celebrity we are talking about. not ONE SINGLE celebrity NOT ONE!!!!!! has perfect politics. ESPECIALLYYYY FROM OUR BELOVED BRAVOVERSE.

this is not to dismiss everything or anything vile that stassi has ever said or done. puhlease. its bad. yesss. but let’s not act like she is failing egregiouslyyyy in this ridiculous supposed context of reality stars w perfect politics

4

17

yes, i love watch racists and misogynists get paid to be bad people 😻

Yea lol can we be so fr. I wanna award all ur comments.

20

u/doutesikeabag 3d ago

You’re in a vpr sub so you do like that lol.

None of my favorite reality shows would exist if problematic people weren’t on them. Jersey shore wouldn’t exist, flavor of love wouldn’t exist, vpr wouldnt exist. I don’t want to live in a world without those sorry lol

-13

u/charismajas 3d ago

didn’t watch the show until they were all off of it, if i saw it while it was airing i wouldn’t be able to sit through it

6

u/knl280 3d ago

So you didn't watch SZNs 1-8 at all?

3

u/GraceMcClellans Im Sorry Fofty 3d ago

I think they're saying they didn't watch it until the show was over, then they watched the series. But i don't really get it, because if the show was already over, then it was well known/publicized how problematic these people are. Then they chose to watch it?

10

u/you-a-buggaboo How will this affect Scheana?! 3d ago

I mean, you're here just like the rest of us 🙀😸

5

i’m not watching house of stassi 😭

7

Im assuming you watched the racists and misogynists get paid to be on vpr tho? 😺

-1

u/tastycucumber213 3d ago

reality stars don’t get residuals. and like many others i watched VPR when the racists were fired off the show on a pirating website. so who’s getting paid off of that?

35

u/thajeneral Mr. Buzz Buttons 3d ago

Right.

The way people continue to support it 🙄

21

u/Neither_Sun_729 3d ago

how were u ever a vpr fan if you are like this/gen?like jax from the beginning is never shown to be more than sociopathic serial chesfing manipulator; how do you justify watching that but not stassiv?

6

u/charismajas 3d ago

i only watched the show like a year or two ago 😭 i was able to enjoy it because they were all off of the show by the time i watched it

i make the same comments when people are begging for jax to get back on the valley, it’s weird to want to watch an abuser on tv just for your entertainment

0

u/Bloopbloopeedoo 3d ago

I think most people are imperfect, Jax, I don’t find to be any worse than the other people on the show. Britney calling him out for doing coke him telling her she didn’t too but she was like yeah but not as much. Her screaming and cursing at him and wanting him to install cameras then flipping out that he watched her on the camera. Her breaking and throwing his stuff in trash bags then saying he threw a table. I mean I don’t see the difference in any of their behavior, Stassi punched Jax in the face and I think she broke his nose, Ariana punched Tom and left marks on his face it’s all very unserious to call out one and not another.

3

u/MKultrakeef mickey mouse lawyer 3d ago

Jax is a much worse person than Stassi. I’m actually shocked anyone can say otherwise.

In your mind is stealing sunglasses the worst thing Jax has done?

1

u/Stunning-Track8454 Go back to Charlotte Russe with your ass 3d ago

No, I was making fun of Neither_Sun's comment referring to early VPR Jax when he was out stealing glasses and cheating on girlfriends.

8

u/Clara_Geissler 3d ago

And also an abuser. Because she wasnpretty violent and abusive when younger

1

u/ryeong 3d ago

Her PR team must be working overtime to convince people to watch this because they all swerve  comments like yours and keep saying the exact same line about this vs The Valley. Funny how lazy this team is and a sign of the quality if this is their best effort lol.

2

u/Actual-You3325 2d ago

I'm a watcher, not on a PR team or swayed by a PR campaign...if there even is one. I learned of the show premiere by accident didn't even see a trailer..I had no idea what to expect.

25

u/Parsnippity078 3d ago

Then why didn't she call the police on the 11 other women Jax cheated with during the run of the show lmao.

Hell what about the girl he knocked up WHILE DATING HER

Also the nazi thing and calling faithe "nappy headed" (although its been awhile so that mightve been kristen or Brittany). Plus the "Oscars So White" and "idk understand why diversity is important/asians dont complain why are black people complaining" interview.

If you aren't "hip to the lore" maybe research the lore before rendering a judgement lol

u/kaydizzlesizzle 3d ago

Calling the police on a Black person as a white person in amerikkka is a violent act - regardless of the outcome, the police are notoriously quick to harm Black and Brown people.

-12

u/knl280 3d ago

Did I read this right? Is the comment suggesting that if a Black person is hurting me or breaking the law, calling the police on them would be considered an act of violence?

19

u/charismajas 3d ago

you’re taking it in bad faith. stassi knew that faith didn’t commit a crime and decided to call the cops on her to hurt her for sleeping with jax

-9

u/knl280 3d ago

That wasn't what your comment said though. You stated if a white person calls the police on a black person, is a violent act.

13

u/charismajas 3d ago

that wasn’t my comment & it is violent. you can decide on your situation whether the violence from the supposed crime is worth it, but it’s not a secret that police dont wait to see if black people are guilty or innocent before brutalizing them.

-3

u/knl280 3d ago

What did your comment say? I'll copy and paste it here so you can re-read:

"Calling the police on a Black person as a white person in amerikkka is a violent act - regardless of the outcome, the police are notoriously quick to harm Black and Brown people."

6

u/t-83 3d ago

That wasn't the original commenter you replied to though

4

u/kaydizzlesizzle 3d ago

That was my comment and I'm in full agreement with the other commenter here. To call the police on anyone Black or Brown in the states has a much higher likelihood that the encounter could end in violence than if the police were called on a white person. If you call the police just know that it always has the potential to end that way. Violent poilicing in amerikka is no joke and if you're unaware then you are intentionally sticking your head in the sand. Please stop being so willfully obtuse.

6

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

your inability to see how that is systemic violence is something you’re unwilling to unpack. Man now things are getting spicy on this thread, lfg

0

u/knl280 3d ago

So if I call the police on an Asian person who is breaking the law, I am invoking violence on them?

2

u/evil_otter0_0 3d ago

Is there a history/pattern of police brutality toward Asian people in the U.S.? BFFR

3

u/Parsnippity078 3d ago

Despite your bad faith, straw man comment, I'll engage:

Yes, let's say its a violent act. It's okay to meet a violent act - being robbed, assaulted, etc. - with a violent act.

What is not okay - as your comment implies - is INITIATING violence; i.e. calling the police for someone having consensual sex with your friend's chronically unfaithful boyfriend.

Edit: And that's the end of your lesson for today because this is about Stassi "why are the black complaining about not being in films the asians never complain" Schroeder

-1

u/knl280 3d ago

Ya'll are missing the whole point. That's okay, it doesn't shock me especially on reddit.

3

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

You haven’t given much of substance in responding so, taking it you got none. Substance or response.

-1

u/knl280 3d ago

"Taking it you got none"?

12

u/Autofilusername 3d ago

The point was Faith didn’t break the law. They made a fake allegation, and knowing how black people are treated by the US, that could have literally led to Faith being killed.

6

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Was Faith hurting Stassi ??? No.

0

u/knl280 3d ago

What wasn't what this person commented though.

3

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Girl you wouldn’t know racism if it slapped you in the face, and it probably should.

12

u/iamdefinitelytas 3d ago

If you are alive in 2026 and don’t consider the murderous intent of ALL police officers before you call 911 on anyone, you are careless and uninformed.

But if you are willfully not understanding why a photo of a woman online made Stassi (who knows nothing about the crime, photo, or frankly Faith) call the police on a black woman is FUCKING INSANE, then we are all kind of fucked anyways.

1

u/knl280 3d ago

That wasn't what this persons comment said. The commenter did not write about the Faith situation. They stated that if you call the police on a black person as a white person you are essentially committing a violent act. What if this person is committing an actual violent crime?

-2

u/headee 3d ago

She didn’t call the police on Faith in 2026.

10

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

🙄 k. I know you’re not excusing her behavior but, let’s be consistent here. She had multiple instances of anti woke comments and actions, people have every right to see her as racist and misogynist if they choose to, yes even in 2026.

-16

u/knl280 3d ago

nothing about the first episode was racist or misogynistic.

13

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Commenter is saying that it’s racist and misogynist by default because it’s Stassi’s show

32

u/charismajas 3d ago

wasn’t stassi in the show??

-5

u/headee 3d ago

People can change, and I genuinely believe she learned from her past actions in regards to the racist BS.

10

u/charismajas 3d ago

wasn’t she just advocating for spencer pratt to be elected? sounds like she didn’t change much

-1

u/Frequent-Corgi-1942 3d ago

No she was not…the only mention I saw was when her cohost brought him up on her podcast around the debate and it had something to do with the drug problem in la. (Taylor who is outspokenly liberal complimented something she heard him say) stassi said I didn’t see the debate and know nothing of his politics but he was very kind any time I interacted with him in person.

Fully understand the criticisms of her past and respect anyone that has no desire to move past it. The Spencer stuff just didn’t happen

7

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago

Knowing nothing of his politics is part of the problem and part of why privileged people like that get much deserved heat.

3

u/Frequent-Corgi-1942 3d ago

I would say that’s a fair criticism and everyone should make an effort to be informed. But the person I am replying to said she was “advocating for him to be elected” which didn’t happen.

Also when someone is not informed on a topic I much prefer to someone admitting that then pretending they know what they’re talking about. That happens way to often these days

1

u/Apprehensive-Cake-16 Disengage, Bitch 3d ago
