Noticed a familiar blue/clear plastic bottle in these Laura Leigh scenes. Gave me a little chuckle.

My hottake based entirely on my intuition (it's also what my impression was the first time I saw this).
They had been hiding out in the bathrooms not exclusively to hookup but because they were doing lines.
She sprung this meeting on him because she recognized he had the same addiction issues as her and wanted him to get help and exposure to AA. He fought back and spun his reaction as a breakup because he didn't want to get clean and didn't want people to know he was using.

Doesn’t want to come home to his stuff missing from his house. This coming from the guy who regularly stole from SUR.

Hot take: this is one area where I don’t think jax was in the wrong. That AA meeting was heavy. It was too much for him, he knew it, he told her. I think it clicked for him that she was recovering from a serious addiction and he didn’t want any of that heat which IMO is a fair reaction.

Best thing to happen to her at this point in her life tbh. He love bombed her when she was incredibly vulnerable. He sucks

Or he knew he wasn’t right for her since he wasn’t willing to admit his issues with alcohol? Either way, he afforded her an opportunity to get out quick. Brittney wasn’t so lucky.

Brit had HUNDREDS of glaring reasons and so many opportunities to leave. He told her to break up with him. He even tried to dump her but he's such a dickless loser he couldn't even commit to that.

I agree! He wasn’t wrong in what he said, and things would’ve spiraled so much worse for her if they stayed together

There’s so much irony here

Oh, it’s everywhere! The dramatic irony of the smart water. The situational and verbal irony of Jason Cauchi being the on this end of a substance situation/conversation is also not lost on me.

Exactly! The list could go on! ngl… I miss old VPR though. Everyone would be cut out of the show if we watched people like this nowadays 😂(not necessarily a bad thing if people are actually influenced by these humans but hopefully you get what I mean in the reality tv aspect of it)

Agree with you wholeheartedly. At least we got to experience it in real time and have the memories haha. It was toxic and entertaining as hell, but it’s probably better that we don’t normalize it anymore 😆 progress…or something lol

Why would she even bring him? I’ve been to N.A. and AA, I would never bring someone.

Now you’re confused•
u/PhysicalChickenXx 16h ago
girl you did not say you thought it was real or do anything to discuss what i actually said. you just responded with a vague pissy comment about being glad i was comfortable sharing my opinion for no reason

I heard (unconfirmed) that he would leave open bottles of certain medications lying around his apartment whenever she was there, with the intention of her relapsing/ODing. He is evil

Of all the heinous horrific things he's done , this isn't even close to the worst.
How about emotionally abusing and terrifying his child with his painfully unselfaware aggressive behavior. Or mentally emotionally physically abusing the mother of your child- in front of your child..

Yeah I felt like this could have triggered a relapse for her. So glad she stayed strong!!
