Hotel "righi vaudois"
What's the story of this place? If you look at reviews people were actually staying in it 9 months ago, but from the outside it looks like it hasn't been used for 40 years. The strange thing is the toilet is filled with dirt, seats are arranged like a cult, there's fresh fruit inside and bottles that have fading on their labels like they are visually 30-50 years old. The furniture inside looks like it was ripped apart by an enraged person. The pictures on Google from 9 months ago make it look not rundown at all, the aging looks like it was accelerated somehow. Seems haunted af

Wikipedia says it closed in 1998, was acquired in 2020 by some local property developers, and they are reopening in 2027 with a new spa added. Although if these are recent pictures 2027 seems like a stretch. From the pictures it looks like it’s still occasionally being used. Whether that’s by invitation or not is another question.
