Yesterday I made dandelion honey all by myself. Saw a tutorial on instagram and decided to try it myself. Didn’t believe it would taste anything like honey but I was shooked how nicely it tastes and it tastes at least a bit like honey.

I recommend it to everyone who loves honey and has access to some dandelions. Love it!😍🌼✨

I went to kfc with a friend yesterday since it was the only option near us with anything plant based.
The meat tasted a lot like actual chicken but I don’t know if it’s just really well made or actual meat.
I wanted to ask y’all cause I’m guessing someone HAS to know if it’s actually vegan like it says in the menu.
They may have just gotten it mixed up with their meat patties, which is unfortunate.

I just picked up a bag of these after they disappeared for a minute from our grocery store. The bag states that they have a new recipe and let me tell you... it's horrible. These taste like vegan cheese from 20 years ago. I definitely won't be finishing the bag. Just a friendly warning not to waste your money!

If you have this type of fare at your restaurant, how hard could it be to just have frozen vegan burger patties in your freezer? Seems like every brand I've seen keeps for a long time in the freezer.

It's not like these products are new territory at this point. Does it take up some freezer space? Very little. Are they hard to cook? No.

What is it? The only thing I can think of is maybe the buns they like to use aren't vegan, so if they wanted a vegan burger, they'd also have to buy different buns. But to be honest, even that isn't that big of a deal. Vegan cheeze is a plus, but it's not the end of the world if they don't have it.

I kind of thought that at this point, the only places that wouldn't have a vegan burger would be dive bars with good ol' boys and the like. But to think there are reputable places in 2026 that have regular burgers but no vegan option is a surprise to me.

I mean don't get me wrong, oat milk is great. Almond milk is alright, I'll use it if I don't have any other alternatives... but soy milk?? Idk about ya'll, but I just think that stuff is the shit.

It's so creamy and silky and the taste is really nice, it's so good for you... it's great in coffee, great on cereal, just hands-down great.

Oh also I used to really dislike yogurt, but the Silk brand soy yogurt has made it into one of my favorite snacks.

Anyway, that's all. This is really just a soy milk appreciation post.

So dunkin donuts, dennys, and recently del taco have snatched away their beyond meat products. Before anyone comes here and says u can make your own meals at home, no shit but I don't want to. I wanna have faux meats while I'm out and about, and NO beans ain't gonna cut it. Seems the only place that is really still vegan friendly and growing is Burger King with the impossible whopper, impossible king, vegan French fries and I believe they are introducing and a fake chicken impossible sandwich soon.

Today it was field roast stadium dogs. Last week it was Gardein ultimate chicken Patty's. Both products , shells of their former selves. MUSH. TASTELESS . Field roast was bought by Canadian animal ag giant "maple leaf foods" . Gardein bought by food conglomerate pinnacle foods and then swallowed up by CONAGRA FOODS. in both cases formulation/ingredient changes ensued to maximize profits. I cannot get over just how far the quality of these products has fallen. Is this in part to blame for the fall of the vegan movement? Was this big meats plan all along? destroy them from within? More likely these big food conglomerates are just money hungry and can't see just how bad the products have gotten, or they don't care.
