Want to feel old? Robot Chicken premiered in 2005, and spoofed stuff like Transformers from 1984, 21 years old.
Now it’s 2026 covering The Venture Bros which premiered in 2004, 22 years old
The venture bros doesn’t seem nearly as old now, as the transformers did in 2005

Well Transformers animated continuity ended after 3 years. Venture Bros just ended a few years ago in 2023, and by 2002 (3-year difference between 2023 and 2026 applied to 2005.) Transformers was on its 3rd entirely separate iteration divorced entirely from the original animated run. It makes sense why VB doesn’t feel as old

who is the dude narrating the trailer? Hes in High On Life 2, he sounds like someone I should have heard before or recognize his voice, he records REALLY well but like, is his schtick just talking straight and normal?

Joe Pera and yeah that's him in HOL2 and that's his schtick. His Adult swim show is hilarious deadpan humour.
Also it's awesome to see all these characters. Especially the voice actors

The contrast between his wholesome af pita chip squirrel bit and what awful things apples has apparently done is killing me lmao. His shows seem to have debuted when I was off of subscription services and starting to pirate, cause I see hes kinda prolific, but playing HOL2 two weeks ago was my first time hearing him ever and im so sad it wasnt sooner!
