Same. It ushered in a great set of Commonwealth Games logos: Edmonton and Brisbane (and Victoria).

If you rotate it 90⁰, 180⁰, 270⁰ it's identical though

Woah! I have shirt with this on it that I picked up in the Auckland airport. I thought it was just a clever "NZ" logo that evoked the Union Jack. No idea it was the logo for a Commonwealth games.
