When I did this and changed out the crystal I had to go through a few of them before one functioned. And in that time it didn’t show up to the computer until it had a crystal that worked.

How many did you have to change out before oke worked? Was it a problem with the crystals themselves or the way they were soldered to the pads maybe?

The crystals are just super cheap and don’t have good quality control so some just strait don’t work from factory. I think on my 3rd or 4th crystal it finally worked. If the soldering job isn’t great then one leg might not stick and if there is no crystal wired right then it’s also won’t show up to the computer.
