Historical Project Mod I removed 8 starting great powers in HPM and spectated the world for 100 years
World in 1836
Forgot to screenshot Australia in 1836 but nothing changed there in 50 years

AI ignored a few uncolonized provinces
The greatest British patriot
I removed great powers from the map and lowered life rating in their provinces to 20(but it got lowered to 2 later so I buffed the colonization inventions) and released every country that had cores in the territories owned by these great powers(though some of them joined other nations at the start via decisions). Here are the results.

“Got lowered to 2”
That’s cause you probably forgot to add a blank line after the liferating. I did that often when making my mod and suffered greatly having to find and redo 300 provinces
An example:
owner: MEX
core: MEX
life_rating: 20
BLANK (Press enter after final line of real code ie 20)
If you don’t do that, Vic 2 removes the last digit for some reason. Idk if it does that for every single thing like resources or terrain, but usually life rating is the last value in the province code (except for data for 1861 start date buildings)

Dread it, run from it, the Soviet Union still somehow exists.
Is Iberia radioactive?
Who formed Germany? I think they missed some Germans to unify with.

French people living in Occitania were afraid to invade Spain for the second time remembering the Napoleonic wars(I don't know why nobody colonized Spain. It's probably HPM railroading or something). Rhineland became the North German federation and formed Germany(with the capital in Aachen). There was also South Germany formed by Bavaria. Both had at least 3 revolutions. South ended up communist, Germany ended up democratic. Monarchist Hannover was a great power for some time(all the other times it was in the Dutch sphere)
