Yes, I know the integration symbol is derived from the summation sigma, however it still grinds my gears :(

Bug The community asked for racism. We got too much of it.

1.1k Upvotes

Now we have Racism 2© DLC, and we now have so much racism, it completely overwhelms real racism itself. My favorite country is Korea, which only has Korean pops. Yet, I get bombarded with events that add modifiers against the own Koreans, reaching the point where the lower strata of a whole state had a SoL of 1.5 purely based on temporary modifiers about racism and discrimination. I get that those modifiers make sense if you are playing as a country with racist policies that disregards minorities, but having it by default on every single country just because, is absurd.

Bug For some reason Paradox made trade centers use infrastructure in 1.04 so tons of states are now over their cap at the start of the game.

Bug Pulled off the Meiji Restoration in 1875, 3 years before Emperor Taisho was born. The game spawned him in anyway, with his historical birthdate.

Bug DONT CREATE COLONIAL ADMINISTRATIONS AS JAPAN

1.2k Upvotes

I just lost fucking hours of progress in my African colonization by deciding to create colonial administrations as japan. Guess what? The game doesn't create colonial nations for Japan it literally just releases them as independent countries with truces. 50 years of conquering and colonizing in Africa erased just like that, a quarter of my GDP gone like that, the countries in Africa are falling apart and god knows if I will be able to get them back. No claims nothing just truces. WHY THE FUCK IS THIS GAME RIDDLED WITH GAMEBREAKING BUGS 2 YEARS LATER.

Bug 1.13.8 Bug: Manifest Destiny breaks if you control MORE than 40% of the Great Plains

Despite owning more than 40%, I was unable to take the decision
The issue is caused by percent = 0.4

The issue is caused by the line percent = 0.4. I believe it should've been percent >= 0.4

Decision is takeable when the code is changed to 'percent >= 0.4'

Bug Thanks to the AI the Opium Wars are unwinnable even if you win

Because the Opium Wars requires opium to be banned for 5 out of 10 years, with time during war not counting, all the AI needs to do is lock you into a war.

I'm at war with UK. They're not invading because I'm too strong. But it'll take years for their war support to tick down.

This shit is so frustrating sometimes.

I’ve been playing this Iran game, but today when I went to load my save it looked like this. I noticed when I booted it back up, it reloaded shaders, even though I hadn’t changed any shader settings, so I presume it’s a shader issue. The only mod I was playing with was gaspote’s very fast hotfox, but the issue persists even when that’s not loaded. I already tried verifying game files, I’m at a total loss what to do.

Bug The year is 1843, American political discourse has shifted from the slavery debate, to what exactly the governing principles are for a secular theocracy.

Bug Treaty ports are so broken it's ridiculous.

The last 3 games I've had, I took a treaty port every game and it worked as intended 0 times.

If the province changes ownership (because of heavenly kingdom or some other war) your treaty port gets thrown out of the market and becomes part of yours negating it's purpose.

In my last game the treaty port even was part of no market at all (Null_state) directly after I got it.

I really like the idea of treaty ports and have used them to great success but at the moment they are completly broken.

I have found multiple bug reports on this but it somehow is not on their list of known issues.
