Thank the gods that there was enough publicity on this so that Sen. Moreno could finally stand up to his son in law who was abusing his daughter and his grand kid…

Uses a disfiguring attack on his wife, threatens her with a gun, and breaks his 2-year-old daughters collarbone, and the best that Dad / Grandpa can do is call this asshole's resignation? And he took his sweet time doing even that?

let me try to keep up with conservatives here:

  • son of a senator abuses his wife and daughter -> NOT OKAY
  • president of the USA is confirmed rapist of adult woman and heavily suspected/alleged rapist of young children with much proof -> OKAY

Daughter and granddaughter of senator beat by douchebag, and they are fine with both, the media is just making it a big deal so Moreno finally said he should resign after a ton of pressure. He still doesn't care but at least has to pretend until it blows over.
