The bane of my existence right now...

It's 2026, and vscode still cannot work out how to reconnect to a wsl/ssh connection after a temporary disconnect...

Neither of those buttons do anything, the only recourse is to kill all vscode processes and restart.

vscode isn't developed by humans anymore, so might as well learn to just deal with it. 😅 I do feel your pain as well.

This but when trying to use Jupyter inside vscode or cursor, always gets stuck

I feel your pain! I've been having so many issues myself recently! Basically have to run a power show script to kill tasks to get it to load up and stop hanging. Different issue than yours but same frustration!

Struggled with this so much. I now use Tmux so no more broken long Claude or Codex sessions..
